German Wiredhair Pointers are fantastic bird dogs and companions. I’ve hunted with GWP’s for 10 years and wouldn’t want any other breed.

It is with heavy heart to let you all know that we lost our precious Rosco and Gerdy Sunday night. They were hit by a car. As you know our dogs are our family and this has been so hard to not only lose one but 2 of our babies. Yes, they were amazing hunters but most importantly, family. Rosco and Gerdy gave us 3 beautiful litters and it is a comfort to know they have offspring out there caring their outstanding qualities. Rosco and Gerdy, you will be missed beyond more than we can say. Love you! 💔

I got out yesterday and found 3 covies of Huns only bagged two. Dogs did great. They covered lots of ground. Only one more weekend dang.

I had a lot of fun yesterday. My brother was in town so we went out chasing birds. All 3 of my Wiredhair’s were locked up so he decided to get a picture. Instead the bird flushed right as he was taking the photo and got this awesome picture instead. You can see the shotgun shell flying through the air as well as the quail dropping. Thanks brother.

Touchdown, Anka has made it safe to Virginia. She is with her family and we couldn’t be happier for them. All puppies are home!

Anka is now with her flight nanny! She leaves tomorrow for Virginia. Oh boy, we will miss her. Got attached with having her one on one for a week.

Anka had her vet appointment today for the clear to fly. She is good to go! Flying to Virginia on Saturday.

ALL PUPPIES HAVE HOMES ❤️. It’s hard to only see three in the kennel. Driggs (far left) goes home Saturday and the other 2 leave us next week.
