So proud of our Graduates. This is Bandon from our Small Towns Litter. He is 11 months old in this photo and loves to go on outdoor adventures with his owner! He is so loved in his home and I just love getting updates ❤️

Our 2 newest additions to the cattery 🥰 we have sisters. Both are polydactyl with green eyes 👀 1 is black smoke and the other is blue silver ticked torbie ❤️ once they are health cleared and old enough, they will be Queens in our cattery 😊

Any name ideas? We wanted something similar to a Yin and Yang but more unique!

Our Greek Mythology Litter has all left to their furever homes 🏡 we miss them so much, but they went to loving and caring homes 🏡

Today our Loki and Athena took a visit to OSU for Echocardiograms 🩺
The vets fell in love instantly and even asked to take their pictures 😂
Their hearts came back clear/normal with no concerns for HCM 😸 ❤️

HCM- Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy is a condition that can cause the muscular walls of a cat's heart to thicken, which decreases the hearts efficiency. This condition can cause sudden death, even if your fur baby seems perfectly fine. Maine C***s are considered to be more prevelent for this condition, and even clear DNA in a feline doesn't guarantee they will never develop it. So that's where Echocardiograms come in to get a further look at the actual condition of their heart.

Echocardiograms are just 1 vital step in building an excellent breeding program.

Echocardiograms are NOT cheap, by any means! But they are extremely vital for breeding Maine C***s!
People always wonder why Maine C***s are the prices they are, and I can only speak for responsible breeders that also do all the proper testing. Soooo much money and TIME goes into ensuring an excellent breeding program. Owning a Maine C**n is not for everyone, but for people who understand that these babies are not meant to be easy or cheap! If you cut corners in looking for a Maine C**n, I guarantee you will probably end up finding a breeder who also cuts corners.

I wanted to clear things up for people who do not know what the PNW in our name stands for. It stands for the Pacific Northwest, which is a region in the Northwest part of the U.S.

We are in the PNW and therefor, our name and registered cattery name is PNWMaineC**n. It seems only people who have actually lived in this region knows what it stands for 😅 hope this information helps!

For those who have never actually been out in this region, it is absolutely the most beautiful out of any other place in the United States. Here are some of my share of adventure photos 😁 (yes all of these were taken from my phone)
