Meg’s first show today and she won, beating a lovely black and white girl and a lovely red girl. It was nice to see the colours in the class. She worked beautifully and stood for her examination like a pro.
She was 2nd of 3 in the afternoon show.

Very pleased with how calm she was. Bigger dogs and barking dogs. Lots of stuff going on. None of it worried her. Well done little Meg. Rhythm of Flight

I’ve just realised I haven’t introduced Meg (Barrowburn Rhythm of Flight). She is the new family member staying on from the last litter.

Someone is keen to be an agility dog when she grows up. Meg was fascinated by Susan Garrett’s weaving training.

It’s a wrap. All Max/Silvy kids have gone to lovely homes. One beautiful girl will stay on for the next generation. These kids were a pleasure to raise with lovely temperaments from their parents, and their learning and socialisation enhanced by the Puppy Culture program.

Congratulations to Bee for passing her third Rally Novice trial run yesterday at Southern Districts Kennel and Obedience Club. Dogs SA pending she will now be known as Barrowburn Bee CCD RN.

She’s still quite young at 21 months and all that thinking tired her out. 🥰

Day 5 and the pups are growing like weeds. Eat/food-coma-sleep/make cute whiffly sounds/repeat.

After a sleepless night for all concerned, Max and Silvy became proud parents to 7 beautiful puppies. 6 girls and 1 boy. Some have tricolour markings. All doing well and have had a vet check showing no issues.

Exciting times ahead watching this lot develop.

We are expecting. Working with Milangimbi Border Collies, Barrowburn is expecting puppies by our Max and from Silvy, a lovely blue show girl owned by Milangimbi.
Sire and Dam have exceptional temperaments.

Some lovely brothers and sisters for our Bee. There may even be some colour.

Due date is Tuesday…. Watch this space.

Very proud of Mr Max.

Max’s turn in the spotlight this weekend in Canberra with an Endurance Title before he ages out - how is he nearly 8 already?

He handled the 20km without issue and came home strongly at the finish. Max will now be known as “Collinda Time to Fly ET” (DogsSA pending).

Many thanks to the organisers, my son for training Max and to Max himself for his persistence and enthusiasm.

I suspect we will both be tired tomorrow.

Bee is now “Barrowburn Bee CCD” (pending DogsSA) after finishing her first Obedience title at the Riverland event on the weekend. She also picked up two Novice Rally passes.
