Wise words to take heed of- I am getting a TON of people calling and texting asking if we have dogs available.

Just an FYI it is NOT recommended to get a puppy right now to anyone, First off we should be limiting contact with ALL other people especially those we do not know personally or do not NEED to see, Governor Cuomo has set forth a shut down for NON-ESSENTIAL businesses.

Another FYI- Puppies need a lot of socialization and veterinary care when they are young, most all Vets are accepting Emergency cases ONLY as the risk of spreading the Virus is inherent.

It is recommended that people remain away from other people right now so your new puppy would lose a lot of essential socialization time.

If you are hell bent on getting an animal think about fostering a cat or adult dog or rescuing a cat or adult dog, they will need far less than a puppy right now.

A viewpoint from me as a Certified Canine Behavior Consultant all puppies NEED Socialization with other People and animals and this is NOT the time to do this!

So PLEASE DO NOT RUN OUT AND BUY A PUPPY RIGHT NOW!!!!! Wait until the quarantine is over!

Governor Cuomo & President Trump have set forth a shut down for NON-ESSENTIAL businesses- First off we should be limiting contact with ALL other people!!

Our ALS ingredients: HIGH-QUALITY PROTEINS

Protein is essential for all body functions, including those of the brain, heart, muscles, skin, skeleton and others. This healthy dog food contains high-quality multi-source proteins.

Chicken Meal
Chicken meal is the first ingredient in this nutritious dog food recipe. Some foods contain whole chicken or chicken parts, which naturally contain a fair amount of water. We use chicken meal because most of the water has been removed, making it a concentrated source of protein. This means that there is a greater “protein content” in one pound of chicken meal versus one pound of whole chicken or chicken parts.

Eggs
Eggs are considered a complete protein source, providing essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Eggs also contain healthy fats, such as omega-6 for healthy skin and a glossy coat.

ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM

A dog’s body is designed to create only a certain amount of antioxidants on its own. That is why we cannot over-emphasize the importance of antioxidants. Chicken Fat

F.D.A. Names 16 Brands of Dog Food That May Be Linked to Canine Heart Disease

The Food and Drug Administration identified 16 brands of dog food that had been linked to heart disease in dogs, according to a report the agency published on Thursday.

In the report, the F.D.A. named for the first time the pet food brands most frequently associated with adverse events. In descending order of most incidents of heart disease, the brands are Acana, Zignature, Taste of the Wild, 4Health, Earthborn Holistic, Blue Buffalo, Nature’s Domain, Fromm, Merrick, California Natural, Natural Balance, Orijen, Nature’s Variety, NutriSource, Nutro and Rachael Ray Nutrish.

As a Life's Abundance Field Representative, it is vital that you be aware of breaking news in the pet product industry.

In July of last year, we notified you about the FDA’s investigation of consumer reports concerning an increase in the number of incidents of a heart disease called canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM). The dogs did not have a predisposition to DCM but they did frequently eat dog foods containing peas, lentils and other legume seeds or potatoes as main ingredients.
