Another introductory post!

This is Willow. Her full name is Weeping Willow and she got her name because she has always been a very vocal cat. She is a very smart and courageous cat, and of course extremely sweet.

Fun fact about Willow: we call her the leader of the pack because the other cats usually just follows her lead.

This is Louisa. Her full name is Louisa May Alcatt and she's named after the American author Louisa May Alcott. We also tend to call her Loulou, Creampuff, our little cow, and many more.

Fun fact about Louisa: she is a polydactyl, so she has 7 toes on each of her paws.

Believe it or not, we also had a squirrel living in the zoo at one point. His name is Peanut. He was rehabilitated back into the wild, so he no longer lives in the zoo with us. 🐿

These guys are the 'friends' from the Anka & Friends Petting Zoo. They are a very tight knit group, only really playing with each other. They can get pretty ferocious at some points. Anka has learned a lot from them though, like how to use his paws to swat.

This is Anka, he is a Border Heeler puppy. He's named after the Canadian musician Paul Anka and he loves to put his head on our shoulders. We occasionally put hats on his head; he's pretty tolerable of it.

Welcome to our new page about the Petting Zoo of Anka & Friends. We are comprised of three cats and one dog. However, we have a lot of friends around our Zoo, so there will be photos, videos, and discussions of other friends too. 🐶🐱🐾
