👗 𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 around lunchtime! See fancy cats dress up. The contest is for cats that are entered in the show.

You can sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judging. No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged.

⌚ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬? If you arrive by 10 AM, you'll have plenty of time to see everything in a couple of hours. Of course, you can always spend more time if you want to! Judging is a continuous format all day. All judges see all of the cats entered. Each judge hosts their own mini-show. There is no overall best of the best.

Show Me Cat Fanciers would like to thank everyone who supported our show this past weekend. CFA succeeds because of you. We were sad our food truck could not make it due to mechanical issues, so thank you to everyone who rolled with Plan B.

A show could not be possible without our club members, volunteers, Stewards, Clerks, and Judges. Thank you to the local 4-H Club plus a few others for stewarding, to Sheryl, Paula, Doug, Jeff, Siim, and Howard for clerking, and to our esteemed Judges. Thank you to Doug Welsh for Master Clerking for us! Thank you to Cathy Dunham who was our Entry Clerk and benching extraordinaire.

Last but not least, a HUGE thank you to those who were there from beginning to end to set up and tear down the show. ChadCharyl Copher, Allene Keating, Peggy Huffman, and Janet and Todd Moyer. There is no way this show happens without all of you. Also, thank you to Robert N Leicy who provided transportation at the last minute and then came back to help tear down. Please forgive me if I left anyone out; it is not intentional.

Finally, I want to personally thank Janet and Todd who trusted me enough to be show manger. I really was "show manager in training," but I learned a great deal and hope for the next opportunity I may be given. You both are the best teachers and great examples. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I apologize I did not get this out sooner, but I didn't get home until late on Sunday evening. I hope everyone got home safely and until we see each other at the next show, be safe.

Thanks to everybody who came to the show. We were sure sorry that our food truck had issues. Thank you for your understanding. We really appreciate all of you, without you we wouldn't exist.

Special thanks to Sheri Poteet Smalts Shaffer for show managing, and to ChadCharyl Copher for all your amazing help in setting up the show and helping with teardown, Robert N Leicy you were awesome when we all were on our last legs helping us finish up, Peggy Shulman , and to the whole show committee, Cathy Dunham thank you as always for everything you do!!! Tyson Allen thanks for picking up lunch. Thanks to Doug Welsh for master clerking and to all the ring clerks! It truly takes a village.

👗 𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗧 around lunchtime! See fancy cats dress up. The contest is for cats that are entered in the show.

Come see up to 150 purebred and household pet cats compete for top cat in different judging rings throughout the day. Meet Maine C**n Cats, Siberians, Persians, Siamese, Devon Rex, Ragdolls, Bengals, and up to 30 other breeds!

You can sit and watch cats on the judging table, or walk around and visit with the cats between judging. No matter what time you arrive you’re bound to see your favorite breed being judged.

Join us for our Annual CFA Cat Show in Neosho, MO on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

We are excited to invite you to the Show Me Cat Fanciers Springtime in the Ozarks Cat Show on Saturday, April 13 at the Newton County Fairgrounds in Neosho, MO. The venue is spacious with great lighting and a warm welcoming atmosphere.

We have our famous Bacon Me Crazy food truck back for an encore. Many come just for the food. Don’t forget our free donuts, coffee and our world renowned Bavarian cream filled chocolate cake!! Our show is limited to 200 entries, so don't delay as we came close to filling last year.

Are you excited to grand next year’s show cat? Come to Neosho to work toward your Grand Title! This is a one-day show with an all-star cast of judges with a Super Speciality Ring so you can work on those grand points for the next season!

There is not a specific show hotel, but there are plenty of hotels in the area. Neosho hotels that are pet friendly include: Best Western Big Spring Lodge (417-455-2300/ 800-568-8520). Joplin hotels include LaQuinta (417-781-0500), Drury Hotel (417-781-8000), Home2suites (417-680-0076). Many more hotels can be found in the Joplin area, about 15 miles away.

We would like to take a moment to say Thank you!! Thank you to all our wonderful judges Brian Pearson, Kathy Calhoun, Kathy Black Jan Walker Rogers Pam DeGolyer and Larry Adkison who judged Show Me Cat Fanciers Christmas in the Ozarks on Saturday. Brian did Super Specialty and Jan did OCP in Championship. Thank You to all the exhibitors who attended the show! We had a nice entry and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. Todd walked over 30 miles between Thursday through Sat with setup and teardown. Thank you to everyone who helped setup and tear down the show. You are all special people💕 People who don't do show production have no idea how much work goes into putting on an event like this. We couldn't do it without everybody's help. Thank you Sonya Griffith for the lovely ribbons. They were so special and there were so many wonderful comments on them.
