1 whole month living in a camper full time! I miss the animals I had so much, but we’re truly happy here! I keep getting asked about hedgehogs. We no longer breed hedgehogs or any other reptiles/ spiders. Taking a break and don’t know when I’ll start back. May start on another little project though because I love doing expos so much! I’ll still be here if y’all have any animal related questions though! Will keep y’all updated💛
Most commonly asked question right now, “what did you do with all your animals?” We’re living full time in a camper and I had to drastically downsize. I do still have plenty of my animals “on board” though🌿🐍 Hippie the snake of course came and some smaller critters. I’m not sure what the future holds for my “exotic pet business” but I’m sure it will be something! For now I’m just enjoying what I do have🚌✌🏼💫
Hippie Exotics was invited to Full House Exotics to share our “creepy crawlies” with their zoo camp!🌿🕷️🪲 I do small power points on arthropods (insects, arachnids, crustaceans) then we look and handle them up close!
I also got to visit some of Tami’s sweet babies again! Full House in Brandon is the BEST place to go for an exotic hands on experience💚
Babies have been going home🤎💼🦔 We have 1 little one left (bottom pics) Price reduced since family backed out. 8 weeks old with cuddle bag and papers ready!
FINALLY got the name changed to (Hippie Exotics) on here!!🌿 I will continue breeding hedgies, in small quantity, but so excited to expand on more of what I love. These pics show more of what goes on arround here. So many projects going on with my Arthropods (insects & arachnids). We’ve started vending expos and educating more on the little creatures. They all have a purpose and I enjoy researching and recreating naturalistic habits for them. Follow us on insta (Hippie_exotics) if you don’t. Thank you to everyone who came to the expo today! We sold about 25 of our spider babies, some isopods, enclosures, and more. Such a fun day and saw so many familiar faces- even people we’ve met through social media. 1st show was definitely a success and can’t wait to see what we can bring to the next one.

Thank you Lana for sharing this!🤎 We handle and socialize our babies daily from 2 weeks until adoption day. If we have an unusually moody baby for some reason, we notify the adopter and even let them meet them before deciding! Although most all babies are social and interactive while being here. Handling HAS to continue though! Hedgehogs aren’t born naturally cuddly. This has to do with how much time you put into them. Lana has been the perfect hedgehog mom and I’m so glad Pinny is with you!
Meet Wave💙 She’s a special hold back baby I kept. Her mom, Ocean decided she did not want to be a mama and pushed Wave out of the nest. You’re not supposed to handle new babies, but I put on a glove and helped her back in the nest. The mama again pushed her far away, was not feeding her and bit a pretty big chunk out of the babies face. This is not rare, moms can neglect or eat their babies at times... Though it has never happened here. Thankfully, I had another nursing mama and took the chance of that mom raising her. She did!! Wave is now beautiful, healthy, and super friendly. Importance of having other mamas and going with your gut feeling. So happy to have her🦔

The vet reminded me yesterday that it was Hula’s birthday!!!❤️🦜 He’s officially 1. Life with conures is so crazy that it should be a reality tv show🤣… but I love them!
Just some of our jumping spider content🤍🌴 Since we don’t have anymore hoglets available, meet another type of critter we keep here! Regal jumping spiders are very intelligent! They turn their heads like puppies when they look at you. They even give good high fives and reach up when they want on your hand! These Phidippus Regius jumping spiders are found in Florida and the Bahamas. You have to admit, they’re CUTE!
Most nights at my house end with someone holding some kind of animal haha... I love when people aren’t afraid of the tarantulas! Go Alexis lol👏🏼💛
Some hoglet bonding tips!🦔 I get asked about this more than anything! Even if the hedgehog wasn’t from me, I find others coming for advise. Here are some tips! Even I have to remember these things when bringing home new hoglets. These animals aren’t like puppies and kittens. Exotic animals typically take more time to get used to you!🤎 I socialize my babies DAILY when they’re here. Keep it up and don’t give up!
They’ll all be leaving for their new homes soon (1 is staying here)💛🦔 We’re on our 4th year of pedigree hogs!

🌿Continue with our pedigree hedgehogs. We have down sized and will only have 2 or 3 litters this year. So if you see a post about a litter, message us fast! We also have a new pedigree female added to our herd so that’s exciting!
🌿Finish our season of Crested geckos! We’re going into this year with 3 babies and 2 more eggs to hatch. We will not be having any more eggs this year so message me if you’re interested in one of those.
🌿Our Conure parrots will also be old enough to breed this year! We have no control over if they breed/lay eggs or not, BUT they’re a bonded pair that will be the proper age this year. If they decide to breed, we are 100% prepared and excited! We have the supplies and research needed, plus our female was syringe fed and raised here!
🌿Parties/ Events- We are still open for small events & already have a few planned this year. We love sharing education on our animals and having a great time. Summer is the perfect opportunity for this because we will be off work and fully open for parties! We have small animals to fit a small budget! Message for details.

Ask me anything to do with your animals and I will help or direct you to someone who can. I have knowledge on many species of animals and have devoted so much time and effort to learn about them. I have full notebooks for each one of my animals and their care, enclosures, and needs. Ranging from small pets, reptiles, arachnids, and birds. We also have a tiktok and Instagram that shares videos, tips, and fun facts!

Animal room renovation!🙌🏼🧡 Living in the camper put a halt to what I love, but I’m so excited to get back at it. Getting closer to moving the animals in and getting back into the reptile/exotic pet community. More updates coming soon!🌿
I’ve had to drastically downsize and on the road to moving! Just wanted to share my room for those who never got to see it.🤎🌿 It’s a sad time and many chapters here have ended.. BUT I believe a a new one will open and I’ll be back to these things in time. I am NOT done with Hippie Exotics though. I could never fully remove myself from something that makes me so happy. Even though I will no longer breed hedgehogs, I will find that niche I can continue. Stay tuned for updates. Thank you to everyone who helped me find amazing homes for some of the ones I had to re-home.

I absolutely LOVE our babies here at Hippie Hedgies. Every hoglet is treated like my personal pet until they leave💛 They’re loved and spoiled as you can see in these videos. The thing I love about being a small breeder, is I have the ability to handle every one of my hedgehogs and their litters daily. I believe this is so important and creates such a good experience for their new families! I love what I do🦔☺️
