Just some enclosure pictures!🧡🥥🌿 I always get asked 1. Where do your animals stay in your house. 2. Do they live in the travel cages. My animals have their own room. “My jungle room” and I never bring them in their permanent enclosures. All of my reptiles have 4ft enclosures with lots of enrichment, lighting, and uvb!😊

🌿📗🐍Fun day at Pearl High school!🐍📗🌿
The students got to stop by our table on the way to class. They had a great time interacting with the animals!

This was a “petting zoo” type event. We love doing those as well! You can book for come and go interactions instead of educational programs.

Reminder: We mainly have reptiles and insects. With a few small exotics. 🫶🏼

Friendly reminder!🍂🎄Colder weather is coming. Most of my animals are cold blooded and none of them like to be cold. With the fall and winter events, we MUST be inside when under mid 70s. I know Mississippi weather is unpredictable so we may have some warmer days. But I can’t book anything outdoors unless I’ve seen the weather for that day. Thanks for understanding!🤎

A day late, but we had a blast at Florence elementary! Honored to have such a large group (almost 200 kids with both presentations)❤️ The 5th grade was learning about biomes and animal adaptations. I can make a PowerPoint presentation revolving around your lessons while showing the animals or doing hands on events.

This group got to learn the natural habitats, environmental adaptations, diet, life span, defense mechanisms, and more with our

Display example! I call this the Bug Bash🪲 Super fun for an insect lovers birthday. I have some for looks, some they can handle, and displays they can hold and learn about.

We had a 🌿WILD🌿 time at Northside Elementary! Mrs. Pennypacker’s class was learning about the tropical rainforest. I brought some of my animals that are native to tropical regions. We talked about why these specific animals thrive in this environment, what they eat, where they would be seen, and they all got to get close and personal. I love specific requests like these and helping class lessons come to life!🦜🦎🐍🕷️

This is also a hands on event where you can interact with these guys. Price is reduced for the “bugs only” and not the animals.

Some people are surprised when they find out none of these guys are native here! Can you guess which one is from where? 🗺️

Animal room renovation!🙌🏼🧡 Living in the camper put a halt to what I love, but I’m so excited to get back at it. Getting closer to moving the animals in and getting back into the reptile/exotic pet community. More updates coming soon!🌿

I’ve had to drastically downsize and on the road to moving! Just wanted to share my room for those who never got to see it.🤎🌿 It’s a sad time and many chapters here have ended.. BUT I believe a a new one will open and I’ll be back to these things in time. I am NOT done with Hippie Exotics though. I could never fully remove myself from something that makes me so happy. Even though I will no longer breed hedgehogs, I will find that niche I can continue. Stay tuned for updates. Thank you to everyone who helped me find amazing homes for some of the ones I had to re-home.

Sweet baby said “put me down and let me explore!”🤍🌿🦔 Brought this litter outside for the 1st time. I like to desensitize my hoglets to different areas and let them experience new noises/smells. These guys are so sweet and doing great! Ignore my nails💅🏼 just took them off lol

💛WHAT ARE WE DOING IN 2023?💛 Little re cap video of our 2022 with exotics. If you’re new to my page, this is what we do and our plans for this year! 🌿Continue with our pedigree hedgehogs. We have down sized and will only have 2 or 3 litters this year. So if you see a post about a litter, message us fast! We also have a new pedigree female added to our herd so that’s exciting! 🌿Finish our season of Crested geckos! We’re going into this year with 3 babies and 2 more eggs to hatch. We will not be having any more eggs this year so message me if you’re interested in one of those. 🌿Our Conure parrots will also be old enough to breed this year! We have no control over if they breed/lay eggs or not, BUT they’re a bonded pair that will be the proper age this year. If they decide to breed, we are 100% prepared and excited! We have the supplies and research needed, plus our female was syringe fed and raised here! 🌿Parties/ Events- We are still open for small events & already have a few planned this year. We love sharing education on our animals and having a great time. Summer is the perfect opportunity for this because we will be off work and fully open for parties! We have small animals to fit a small budget! Message for details. 🌿We are here to help you with your animals! I get tons of messages a day saying “sorry to both you, but…” This does NOT bother me!! Ask me anything to do with your animals and I will help or direct you to someone who can. I have knowledge on many species of animals and have devoted so much time and effort to learn about them. I have full notebooks for each one of my animals and their care, enclosures, and needs. Ranging from small pets, reptiles, arachnids, and birds. We also have a tiktok and Instagram that shares videos, tips, and fun facts!
