Today I want to share something that matters.

John is a veteran in real need of a service dog — not for comfort, but for stability, independence, and day-to-day function. He came to us with hope, honesty, and a dog that had potential but needed real structure and direction.

Josie has officially graduated our Day Train Program and is now continuing into advanced service task work and public-access testing.

After spending time with John and hearing his story, I made the decision to donate all service dog training at no cost.

Not because it looks good.
Not because anyone asked.
But because it was the right thing to do.

Legion K9 was built on discipline, service, and integrity. This is what those values look like in real life — stepping up when someone truly needs support.

We are proud of this team, and we’re committed to helping more veterans and families whenever we can.

This is purpose.
This is service.

Happy 4th birthday to Vader — my permanent puppy.
This little dwarf has taught me a lot… and tested more patience than any dog I’ve ever owned.
But his quirks are what make him one-of-a-kind. There really aren’t words for him sometimes — he’s just Vader.
Cute as hell, drive for days, and forever my little chaos gremlin.

One of the best decisions I ever made was joining the military. It changed the entire course of my life.

It taught me discipline, purpose, and brotherhood. It showed me what real sacrifice looks like — the kind that demands everything from you and gives no guarantees in return.

Today isn’t about recognition. It’s about remembrance. It’s about honoring the men and women who stood ready to give it all so others could live free.

To those still carrying the weight of their service — you’re not forgotten. And to those we’ve lost — your sacrifice will never be in vain
