The ‘Picantonal Lagoon’. A Green Neon biotope in all its glory
The Picantonal River is narrow and short, around eight miles long, born right between the east and west Picantonal inselbergs and drains into the Orinoco River. Its water comes out of the ground in a spring filled with Morichal palm trees, Mauritia flexuosa, with a pH below 5.0, KH of less than 20mg/L, a GH of less than 10mg/L, and a temperature around 26 to 28°C. In the deeper pools it even develops a light blue tinge

Life in the Depths: Kinabuhi sa Kahiladman

This was my entry for last year's International Aquatic Plants Layout Contest. Making this year's entry has not been that smooth. The aftermath of the super typhoon Rai (Odette) has given me a hard time recovering mentally from aquascaping. Nonetheless, here I am now grinding my entry for this year with more of an underrated theme 😉

I'll reveal my entry soon after the results are announced.

Das 45P schaut gerade eigentlich ziemlich gut aus finde ich. 🌿
Aber irgendwie hab ich Lust es neu zu machen! 😅
Eine paar Wochen/Monate wird es denke ich noch bleiben aber dann ist es Zeit für ein neues Layout!

Du hardscape au bac planté…il est bientôt temps de passer à un autre projet, ceci est le 3ème décor que je réalise dans cette cuve Viv 45p. J’aimerais changer de format pour la prochaine, un petit Ada 60F peut-être? 😎
