I’m creating this group to preserve the Croatian Sheepdog in a way in good standing with breeders in Croatia, and allows the breed to return to Croatia if needed. To assist if needed so that the Croatian Sheepdog always has Croatia as her homeland. And to promote a respect for Croatian breeders, culture, and heritage that make the Croatian Sheepdog what they are.
Steps that need taken is the creation of a breed Club, which is this Facebook group (I’m pretty sure only for Americans). Also we need to register dogs UKC, get some show wins, and register dogs Foundation service stock. In the end we want full AKC recognition to reach our ultimate goal of creating a path for the Croatian Sheepdog to return back to FCI registry in Croatia. I believe we need 150 dogs in the USA and enough members in the group to create a board. Long live the Croatian Sheepdog! Especially in Croatia
