TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Squid was discovered on Reddit after his family shared that due to their housing situation, he could no longer stay with them and needed to be rehomed by October 1st.

The Reddit community quickly rallied around him, raising funds through a GoFundMe to help with his transport to a stay-at-home mom experienced in caring for special-needs cats.
Because Squid has Cerebellar Hypoplasia, many rescues and fosters were hesitant to take him in. However, took him in with opening arms and found him the best mama!

We could not have done this without Flight Angel Shari B! Shari flew in from HAWAII to pick up Squid and take him from PHX-DSM! We truly can’t thank you enough for your huge heart and all you did to helping Squid get home! You are an inspiration and because of you, Squid has a second chance at a FURever home! 🥹

This was our first time working with Whisker Outpost and it was such a huge success. Thank you for all you do in the rescue world and we look forward to the next transport 🥰

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

What a day for Kermit and her new family! 🐾
It all started out bright and early for Flight Angel, Kelly S! She traveled from BWI-AUS to pick up Kermit! From there they traveled to MDW to meet her “puppy sitter” James S! James helped watch Kermit until the second Flight Angel, Carol B flew her from MDW-DTW.. And that’s where she met her new mama, Amy 🥹
When they say “it takes a village” this is perfect example of that. From Flight Angels, to fosters, Adopters, “puppy sitters”, drivers, coordinators, rescues.. A TRUE VILLAGE to get 1 pup home 🥹

Thank you for rescuing this sweet girl and finding her the perfect home. She now has a second chance at life.

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

This brave little traveler, Monita, went on quite the adventure! Thanks to her amazing Flight Angels, Rocky and David, she journeyed all the way from Texas to Las Vegas and then on to Seattle! From there she was greeted by her new family who was patiently waiting for her arrival!

Monita was surrendered to along with her two siblings because her family prior was being deported and they wanted to make sure their babies would be safe and cared for. 💔
Thanks to her mother’s courage and love, Monita’s story now has the happiest ending imaginable.🥹

She’s now HOME! She also has a furry sibling named Raisin! As soon as her new mom saw her, she knew Monita had to join their pack. Swipe through the photos to see the 2 of them already becoming the best of friends 🥹

Thank you to everyone who helped with this transport! Amanda and Ashley, it’s always a pleasure to work with y’all at LWHA and we appreciate all you do!

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

TEDDY MADE IT HOME! This was a cross country flight from LAX-FLL done by the veteran Flight Angel, Karla C! Karla flew from FL to CA to pick up Teddy and then turned around to fly home him to FL! It was a very long day but thanks to her, Teddy made it home! Shout out to Karla once again for her Servant’s Heart ❤️

Teddy was being abused and surrender to the shelter. stepped in and found him the best family. He even has a new brother to play with 🐶

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!
We LUV a good LUV story! These 2 sisters traveled from Texas to South Carolina with our amazing Flight Angel, Rachel C! We could not have done it without her and appreciate all of her hard work and effort during this transport!

Their former owner was elderly and sadly couldn’t care for them anymore. She had to make a heartbreaking decision to surrender them but thanks to , they were able to find them a home together! And.. they even gained a sister, Evelyn, who is another LWHA rescued baby!

It truly takes a village. Thank you all for making this transport happen. Both pups (and Evelyn) are doing great adjusting and there is so much LUV in the air. 🥰

Stories like Moma’s are exactly why we do what we do. ❤️💛💙
After losing her mom, this sweet senior girl was surrendered to a shelter, facing an uncertain future. But thanks to the LUV of , they rescued, fostered and found her an amazing family! Moma’s life has a brand-new beginning 🥹

With the help of our incredible Flight Angel, David (who generously donated his time and heart) Moma made the journey all the way from Texas to California. ✈️
Because of caring volunteers like David, dogs like Moma can travel safely into the arms of their forever families.

We’re thrilled to share that Moma is already thriving in her new home. Her family tells us, “We love her so much! She loves sleeping with us at night!” It’s clear she’s right where she belongs.. Surrounded by LUV, comfort, and security. 🐾🤍

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Back in May, Moo arrived at from a shelter in Waco facing an uphill battle. At 10 years old, he was struggling with pneumonia, advanced dental disease and a heartworm diagnosis. His journey looked uncertain, but Moo’s spirit proved stronger than the challenges ahead.

With the around the clock care of his foster mom (who is also the director at LWHA!) Moo slowly overcame every obstacle. He beat pneumonia, bravely underwent full dental extractions and even adjusted after losing the lower front part of his jaw. Through it all, his sweet and gentle nature never wavered.

Moo’s story came full circle. Thanks to his amazing Flight Angel, Kyle, he traveled from Texas to Colorado to finally meet his FURever family. Moo couldn’t be in better hands as his mom is working towards becoming a Registered Vet Tech! To top it off, he now has a LWHA alum brother, Gizmo, to share his golden years with.🥹

From rescue to FURever love.. Our hearts are so full! ❤️

Ewok and Tiki, two senior sweethearts rescued by , have officially found their happily-ever-after in South Carolina. These two have so much love left to give, and now they have a mama who will cherish every single moment with them. 🐾

A huge shoutout to Karla, the incredible Flight Angel who went above and beyond by flying them from AUS to CHS to personally es**rt these pups to their new home.
Your dedication makes all the difference and we can’t thank you enough Karla!

Here’s to fresh starts, cozy naps and endless tail wags for Ewok & Tiki.

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

WHAT A DAY❣️
Sid made it home and we couldn’t be more excited for him! This sweet, tail wagging boy flew from AUS-MSP with our incredible Flight Angel, Colleen W. He was the star on the plane! He got to meet the pilots and the whole flight crew adored him! I think he was the favorite PAWsenger 🥰

If you swipe through the photos you’ll see his new family had matching shirts made with his face on them. How cute is that?!
They were so excited to meet their newest addition and it’s safe to say- it was love at first sight!

Thank you to for taking in Sid, fostering him, and finding him the perfect family. It’s always great to work together on these transports!

This couldn’t have happened without the amazing Colleen! Thank you for donating your day to helping a rescue pet in need. He has a second chance at life now and we are so happy for him!
