TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Back in May, Moo arrived at from a shelter in Waco facing an uphill battle. At 10 years old, he was struggling with pneumonia, advanced dental disease and a heartworm diagnosis. His journey looked uncertain, but Moo’s spirit proved stronger than the challenges ahead.

With the around the clock care of his foster mom (who is also the director at LWHA!) Moo slowly overcame every obstacle. He beat pneumonia, bravely underwent full dental extractions and even adjusted after losing the lower front part of his jaw. Through it all, his sweet and gentle nature never wavered.

Moo’s story came full circle. Thanks to his amazing Flight Angel, Kyle, he traveled from Texas to Colorado to finally meet his FURever family. Moo couldn’t be in better hands as his mom is working towards becoming a Registered Vet Tech! To top it off, he now has a LWHA alum brother, Gizmo, to share his golden years with.🥹

Ewok and Tiki, two senior sweethearts rescued by , have officially found their happily-ever-after in South Carolina. These two have so much love left to give, and now they have a mama who will cherish every single moment with them. 🐾

A huge shoutout to Karla, the incredible Flight Angel who went above and beyond by flying them from AUS to CHS to personally es**rt these pups to their new home.
Your dedication makes all the difference and we can’t thank you enough Karla!

Here’s to fresh starts, cozy naps and endless tail wags for Ewok & Tiki.

Cosmos made it from AUS-MCI thanks to Tracy C! She’s done it again 🥹
Another rescue animal has made it to its FURever home thanks to her!
She has a heart of pure GOLD!

This was another amazing partnership with . Just scrolling through the photos you can see how loved this sweet senior pup is! From shelter, to foster, to adoption- this little man has been through it all.

He finally gets the happily ever after he deserves thanks to everyone who committed to journey ❤️

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

WHAT A DAY❣️
Sid made it home and we couldn’t be more excited for him! This sweet, tail wagging boy flew from AUS-MSP with our incredible Flight Angel, Colleen W. He was the star on the plane! He got to meet the pilots and the whole flight crew adored him! I think he was the favorite PAWsenger 🥰

If you swipe through the photos you’ll see his new family had matching shirts made with his face on them. How cute is that?!
They were so excited to meet their newest addition and it’s safe to say- it was love at first sight!

Thank you to for taking in Sid, fostering him, and finding him the perfect family. It’s always great to work together on these transports!

This couldn’t have happened without the amazing Colleen! Thank you for donating your day to helping a rescue pet in need. He has a second chance at life now and we are so happy for him!

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

What an exciting day for Tara Toga and Sunny Snuggles! They were rescued by in TX!

Their owner passed away and they were left homeless. The family contacted a vet where they connected them with Stephanie. Stephanie became their foster mom as LWHA got them vetted and found the perfect home where they could stay together!

Their new family was in Boise, ID and Tracy was their Flight Angel to take them there! It took 2 flights through Denver but they are finally HOME! Tracy has a heart of GOLD and we can’t thank her enough for helping so many rescues in need. Because of her these 2 are now with their new mama in Idaho.

TRANSPORT FILLED!

Twix has officially made it to her FURever home! Rescued with her litter mates as tiny kittens, has once again done it again!
Kelly is helping kitties big and small in South Florida. Twix was one of her rescues and she found her and amazing family in Pennsylvania.

Karla C donated her day to flying this cutie from PBI-BWI. Flight loads were filling up but that didn’t stop Karla. We can’t thank you enough for all your dedication to getting Twix up north!

The “precious cargo” has now been secured by her new mama and her second chance at life start now 🤍

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Cookie Two Step is a senior girl who found herself in the shelter. She was alone and scared before stepped in and saved her life.
After 7 long weeks of searching for the perfect family, she found it in Pennsylvania.

We couldn’t have done this transport without our veteran Flight Angel, Tracy C. She donated her day to fly Cookie from Dallas to Pittsburgh where they were greeted by her new family.
Thank you Tracy for helping Cookie and all you do for rescues in need!

We appreciate our partnership with LWHA and all they do to help rescues find their FURever homes.

Cookie Two Step has a second chance now and we are so thrilled for her!

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Lemonade (Lemmie) made it to Nashville thanks to our amazing Flight Angel, Forrest S! He has been transporting for YEARS and has a heart of pure gold. This photos and videos he took truly will melt your heart. ❤️
Thank you Forrest! Your dedication to helping rescue pets in need is admirable.

Lemonade survived a terrible car accident that took her mother’s life. A first responder took her to the shelter and that’s when stepped in.
They found her the best mom PAWSible who knew immediately she was “the one”.

We are so grateful for everyone who made this transport possible. Lemmie girl has a second chance at life that’s to everyone involved.

Tracy C has done it again! She donated her day off to taking Zinnia, a Senior Pom rescued by , to her FURever home in PHX!
From rags to riches. This girl had a second chance thanks to our amazing Flight Angel Tracy!

Zinnia and her new mom are already 2 peas in a pod. We are so grateful this sweet girl will be spoiled for the rest of her days!

GIDEON IS HOME!
Gideon, the sweet senior chi, has officially made it to his FURever home after spending 17 weeks in the care of Long Way Home Adoptables. This was all made PAWsible thanks veteran volunteer, Charlene W as well as our friends at LWHA! Thank you to all who made Gideons dreams come true and getting him to his new family in BWI. His second chance starts now ✨

Gideon is going to be spoiled rotten for the rest of his years and we are so happy for him!
It truly takes a village to make transports happen and we are beyond thankful for this village 🤍

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Chester “Ches” made it from HOU-MSP thanks to our amazing Flight Angel Tracy C! She flew him on her off day so he could finally be united with his FURever family! Shout out to Tracy and all her hard work to get this sweet 7lb pup home!
Ches ended up without a home after his owner passed of old age. took him and his brother Harvest in and were dedicated to find them the best homes. Ches will be living in Alaska with his new PAWrents who LUV and adore him already.
We are grateful for this partnership with LWHA and appreciate all they do in the rescue world!

TRANSPORT COMPLETE!

Portia’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. Rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation alongside 25 other dogs, she arrived at the shelter scared and unsure of the world around her. But thanks to the compassion of and her amazing foster mom, Portia began to discover what it means to feel safe and loved. Slowly but surely, her sweet personality started to shine through with tail wags, gentle kisses and a growing curiosity about the world.

The next beautiful chapter began when our amazing Flight Angel, Charlene W. transported her all the way from Texas to Florida, where Portia officially joined her FURever family!
From living in fear to living in freedom, Portia (now known as Harlee Rose) now gets to experience the joy, comfort, and unconditional LUV every dog deserves.

Thank you to everyone involved in another amazing transport. It takes a village 🐾
