❗️PLEASE READ CAPTION we need your help:
It’s that time of year everyone!! Tomorrow, we will attempt to raise $300,000 in 30 hours for dog rescues all over the world! 😱😅😱🤯 we are SO BEYOND NERVOUS and excited to do this! For years we have used our platform to try to bring awareness to rescue and to try to help lots of them financially so they can continue doing such important work that many of us are so grateful for. Without rescues like the ones we donate to, many dogs would live lives of abuse and neglect before eventually being left starving with no home and nobody to love them. Rescue changes that for so many dogs. They spend their spare time taking in, and seeking out the neglected animals. They provide warm homes, love and hope for them. They get their dogs appropriate medical attention and they spend time and money training them. They spend lengthy times vetting homes to make sure these dogs get their second chance at life with amazing families. This all takes huge amounts of passion for individuals to dedicate their spare time to, and more so it takes large amounts of money. Money that they find very hard to come by since they rely solely on public donations. That’s where we come in. We use our platform that we’ve been blessed to have, to call upon 700,000 people to donate a very small amount of money. We’ve been able to do incredible things with this account and tomorrow we will ask you all to join us in achieving another incredible feat. To come together and do something truly wonderful at Christmas time for so many dogs that need it. Tomorrow we will attempt to raise $300K in 30 hours for rescues all over the world. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️ Please TAG your nominated rescues in this post, we will only be considering non for profit rescues that have been around a long time. That are respected in their communities and have a proven track record of saving many dogs each year.

Back to the vet. Not wanting to put much weight on the back right limb so having the vet check it out. We will keep you updated when we know more ❤️

UPDATE: No obvious injury on palpation or xray. Waiting on radiology report to be sure but it's likely a soft tissue injury resulting from overcompensating with the front limb deformities in addition to the shallow hip sockets seen on xray from before. Sent home with pain meds and will continue to rest and monitor. Luckily he is the happiest puppy and goes with everything thrown his way!

Took a road trip even further east to visit my friends at Divedesignco - They scanned and measured my cute little body to create a custom 3D device so that I can be more mobile.

As many of you know the surgeon said that even with multiple surgeries they would not be able to create functional elbow joints so he recommended that a device be made for me.

Can't wait to try it out! Aiming for it to be done mid July.

Road trip to Grams and Gramps. Recovery from my airway surgery continues. Having some respiratory and regurgitation episodes here and there but overall maintaining well. Have exciting news for Monday so stay tuned!

Happy to report Twist continues to do well. He's allowed short potty breaks outside and takes advantage of every second! His breathing will always be compromised but believe the surgery has helped just enough to decrease the frequency of episodes he has. The surgeon will be following up within a week to talk more about what the future holds. We will keep you posted on how that goes.

Morning antler chewing. Things have been going well the last few days. Still having a few respiratory episodes here and there but overall much better than before surgery!

Been doing well the last few days. Minimal respiratory and regurgitation episodes. Per surgeons orders still being restricted to the pen. Back to animal impersonations to stay occupied. Meet Poky-Rex 🦖

PokyMan wants to thank everyone for being so supportive. The kind words, check-ins and donations all are so appreciated. It's a bit of a road ahead. Last night was better in terms of breathing difficulties but today he's had three bouts of regurgitation. So we are still keeping a close eye on him over the next three weeks as he continues to heal from surgery.

Got the morning update on Twist. He is in good spirits and they have been able to start weaning him off oxygen. They are hopeful that by this afternoon they may have him out of oxygen but are taking it slow. Dr Wilson is optimistic that he may be able to come home tonight! We will know more later today 💕

Morning friends! We just got another update. They were not able to transition him off oxygen overnight. He is happy wagging his tail and has a healthy appetite when in the oxygen cage. They are going to keep him at minimum another night and will attempt to wean off the oxygen again this afternoon. Thanks for the continued thoughts.
