EVEREST AND ZEUS FAMILIES❤️. The time is almost here. Please use this time to prepare for your puppies arrival. Your pup is now using their potty area 80% of the time..( I'm very pleased with their progress). I will send you home with a bag of pine pellets (potty pellets). You can purchase these at Atwoods, or Tractor supply. The picture below shows the type of potty tray I use. You can get these at petsmart. Put the pine pellets inside the tray. Place the tray by the door your pup will be using to go outside. Eventually you will move the tray outside, then remove the tray and place pellets on the grass. They will smell the pine pellets, and be drawn to the area. Within a few weeks you will be able to remove the pellets altogether.
Your pup has received his, or her 1st vaccine. You will need to make an appointment now ,with your vet to see your pup within a week of them coming home. Please remember. ♥️.ALL 4 FEET OFF THE GROUND UNTIL YOUR PUP IS FULLY VACCINATED ♥️ parvo can live on the ground for up to 15 years. Also the new k-9 flu is everywhere. Please speak to your vet regarding a flu vaccine. Please avoid rest areas, dog parks, petsmart ect ..until fully vaccinated. Your pup will also be vet checked, and de-wormed by our vet.
If you have not ordered your NuVet vitamin supplements, please do so now...( make sure and use the ordering code 222584 when ordering)..I highly recommend this for their transition to their new home and beyond. Please have on hand the NuVet plus, and NuVet bone and joint support. All of our dogs are on NuVet. Pups start NuVet at 3 weeks. To protect your pups joints, please no hard running till they are 2. Slow ball rolling only...(if I have not reach out to you about your NuVet please send me a message)
I will be sending your pup home with a small bag of food.(diamond large breed lamb and rice) Whatever food you decide to put your pup on, please wait a few weeks until your pup has adjusted to his/her new home. Then slowly switch...I also recommend putting a table spoon of pumpkin in their food. This will help with gut protection during transition (make sure its pure pumpkin, not the pie filling)..Puppy blankets will also be going home with mom/siblings smell on it, along with a stuffed toy. Also pictured is a safe chew toy. These are sold at petsmart.
