Our old boy is really starting to slow down but he sure did enjoy his visit from Santa. You can certainly see and feel his enthusiasm dripping from each pic 🙄😂. I threw in a few pics of his daily routine of numerous naps lol. Hopefully, all the pups out there had a great Xmas like Ryker and his sister Shiva did.

How did Ryker spend his summer?? Well plenty of naps of course, having his dinner served to him in our bed, laying right on our pillows in our bed, trying to hide his face in our pillows when we call him out on it 🙄 and trips in the Jeep with Shiva to get McDonalds cheeseburgers. He is starting to slow down a bit but still manages to follow me from room to room throughout the house without exception. He is literally my shadow. If I leave the house he proceeds to stare out the front door or window and often sleeps at them until I return home 🙄😝😂. The minute I sit in my recliner he proceeds to hop up on to “his” recliner right next to me. I must admit of all the huskies we have ever owned he is the best behaved and lowest maintenance. Shiva is trying her best to keep him young with at least 2 brief play fights a day. 🐶 🐕

Ryker is NOT a fan of the loud Florida thunderstorms 🙄. Tonight he took cover in bed and buried his head in the pillows 😂. I don’t have the heart to tell him 4th of July and the fireworks are next week 😳. Shiva is not bothered by thunder or fireworks. Actually Ryker is the only husky we ever owned who hates thunder or fireworks. It will be a long week 😝

We took Ryker and his sister Shiva to get a bath and all shined up for the holiday weekend and the official start of summer!!!! I included a few extra pics as well especially one of him napping in his favorite recliner 🙄. And the answer is still “NO” he won’t go in the pool lol 😂. He is spoiled beyond belief, still loves his McDonalds cheeseburgers(no onions) and is enjoying his Florida life 🏝️🐬☀️!!!

Ryker and Shiva woke up early today and ran right for their stockings to see if they scored any Xmas gifts from 🎅. They were very happy to see they both scored some toys and some treats ….Merry Xmas to everyone who continues to follow Rykers journey!!! 🎄🎅🐶

Ryker has his head down, and Shiva appears to have stopped her morning Yoga routine in a moment of prayer with her paws together and pointed upwards lol. I guess they are praying that we get off easy with this hurricane lol. Ryker sensed it again this AM as he refused to take his morning walk. He just kept pulling me relentlessly back towards our front door 🙄. Thankfully, overnight the storm nudged slightly south of us which was a huge break for us. Hoping for the best for those people who will be taking a direct hit from this. 🙏.

The stress of the hurricane 🌀 is just too much for the pups to take 🌀🙄😂. Although I really believe they could sense it in the atmosphere this AM. They LOVE their morning walks and drive me crazy every morning until I take them. This AM, prior to the wind and rain, we only made it half a block and Ryker refused to take another step….He turned around and began pulling hard to go back to the house, so we did….It was certainly out of the ordinary cause he LOVES his walks 🤷🏼‍♂️🙄😂. They say animals can sense these impending storms 🤷🏼‍♂️. I just wanted to let everyone know Ryker and Shiva are both safe and sound as we ride out the storm 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

Driving home with my tail between my legs to face 2 overly excited Huskies was demoralizing and very unexpected 🙄😩😫😢😜🤬😜😂😂😂😂. But both buttheads were rewarded with McDonalds cheeseburgers for their team win….I am still so angry at the ND loss that they will not be allowed to sleep in our bed like normal….Ok maybe….possibly….Ok they can!!!! But not till they both howl “Go Irish” 😬😜😂🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀☘️🍀🍀

I won’t be walking, talking to, or handing out any treats to these 2 huskies between 3:30-6:30 today, while my Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Northern Illinois “Huskies” 😜😂. You can see they are nervous and not at all excited for the game today lol. Go Irish ☘️
