Today Rue found a forever home with the Schmidt family. A sweet family of 5 with three teenage kids who will give Rue lots of love, attention and snuggles. The Schmidt family recently lost their boxer-mix and they didn’t think they were going to get another dog this soon but their other dog (also a boxer mix) has been super sad then they saw Rue’s picture/videos and they knew she was their girl. Mom works from home and kids are home schooled so they are home a lot to give Rue the attention she craves & deserves.
Immediately after meeting Rue, two of the kids were giving Rue non-stop love, and trust me when I say, Rue was eating up all the attention!
Rue has already had doggie ice cream, is giving her new brother dog kisses and has found her way onto a bed.
My heart is happy.
Rescue dogs are the best!!!
