✨✨Dogs Are Women’s Best Friend! Today I take my mom to a morning coffee date:)
💡You wonder why the connection between women&dogs is so strong? You must read this!
Researchers looked at how useful dogs and humans have been to each other throughout history. Upon analyzing the data researchers noticed a major influencing factor is women. They found a pattern emerging – when women were more involved in a dog’s life, the dog’s value or “personhood” went up ⬆️
Personhood meant a dog would be given a name and included in family life.
The data suggests that only when a dog formed a special relationship with a woman did the rest of the family or social group accept it.
Another interesting detail that came up in the study- Women and dogs speak differently! As it turns out women have an innate ability to understand and interpret the different dog growls and what they mean. (For example, between growls for playfulness, stranger defense, and food guarding)
This is not to say that men are not sensitive to their dogs.. But that percentages surveyed 63% of women understood dogs better.

Nothing says Happy Holidays to us pet parents like an easy Christmas dog treat recipe after all.. The Best Gingerbread Dog Treat Recipe! Not only are these gingerbread dog treats absolutely delicious – they are easy to make too!

🌟YOU’LL NEED:
1 and 1/4 Cups Water
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
1/2 Cup Molasses
2 Tablespoons Honey
3 Cups Organic Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 Tablespoon finely chopped Fresh Ginger

2 Large Bowls
Mixing and measuring utensils
Rolling Pin
Gingerbread Cookie Cutter

🌟TO MAKE:
1. Get two large bowls. In one bowl combine the water, olive oil, molasses and honey. In the second bowl combine the flour, cinnamon, cloves and finely chopped ginger.
2. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet. Mix until all are combined.
3. Divide the dough into two, wrap and refrigerate for minimum 3.5 hours.
4. Once chilled, remove dough from fridge and roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness (less than a centimetre).
5. Pre-heat oven to 180 C (350 F).
6. Use your Gingerbread Cookie Cutter to cut out the biscuits. Place on baking tray. Bake for 10-15 minutes.

1-You shouldn’t leave me alone for long time! if you're working late or busy bring me a dog sitter please :)

When people decide to lead a sustainable lifestyle, their pets are not always considered as part of the equation. It’s just assumed that just because greening up your home is good for humans, it must be good for pets, too.
But there are several steps you should take to make sure your pets enjoy the benefits of going green. Going green basically means auditing our practices and habits and how they impact our environment.
So.. how should we do this??

✅ Invest in a sustainable dog bed. Your dog spends 80% of its time in a day lying down, either sleeping or just resting.
✅ Use non-toxic shampoo. Shampoos for humans are not designed for your pets because they have high-acidic contents that are harmful to the skin of your dog.
✅ Compost. Buy a compost bin and when you go out for a walk so your dog can relieve itself, scoop up the waste and put it in the box.
✅ Pet-friendly products. As a rule of thumb, products manufactured from natural raw materials are always a good thing. When choosing chewable toys, plushies, grooming products, and even leashes- make sure to check out its non-toxic and plastic free.
✅ Take your dog for a walk. When you are doing your daily errands, leave the car in the garage and walk instead - but don’t forget to take your dog with you! its good exercise & reduce carbon emissions :)

🎃 Homemade Halloween Pumpkin Dog Treats 🎃

Tricks and treats – Halloween sounds like the perfect holiday for dogs to get involved! But it’s important you have the right treats on hand to praise your pup for all their tricks.
While many human candies and treats handed out during this season can be harmful to dogs, you can make your own DIY dog treats that will have your pet lining up for more.

🌟Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
2 eggs
1/2 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling, which contains sugar and other ingredients that may be harmful to your dog)
2 tablespoons xylitol-free peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Water (as needed)

🌟Directions:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Step 2: Mix flour, eggs, pumpkin, peanut butter, salt and cinnamon in a bowl
Step 3: Add water as needed to help make the dough workable (it should be on the slightly dry side)
Step 4: Roll the dough into a 1/2-inch thick sheet and use cookie cutters to create themed treat shapes
Step 5: Bake until hard, about 40 minutes
