𝗪𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐚 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐬!! 🎄 🎅🏻🐶
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲!
Here Mia is doing such a good job walking over the cavaletti poles. When we first started seeing her she was having difficulty lifting her left hind leg over objects and difficulty with her balance. She can now do this on a higher setting with the foam pads with almost no problem! Mia has come such a long way since she started therapy and mom couldn’t be happier! 😊
𝐈𝐭’𝐬 𝗪𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭 𝗪𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲!! 🐶🐶
Wilson knows how to get the job done! We have been treating him conservatively with therapy over the past several months for a partial CCL (ACL equivalent) tear. He has made leaps and bounds progress and we are all so happy to see this!! Mom and Dad have been so diligent with his rehab and keeping up with his strengthening exercises! It is such a delight to work with Wilson and his hardworking paw-rents! ❤️🐶
𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝗪𝐞𝐞𝐤!! ❤️🐶
Minzi and Atticus would like to tell everyone it’s time to celebrate 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐠 𝗪𝐞𝐞𝐤 this week! There are many ways to celebrate this week!
🐾 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐚 𝐬𝐩𝐚 𝐝𝐚𝐲! What pup doesn’t enjoy getting pampered?!
🐾 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐮𝐩! This could be learning what dogs really need in their diet, making sure your pup is getting the right exercise, caring for senior pups, helping your dog with separation anxiety, or learning your dog’s body language.
🐾 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝! There are many dogs out there that need help. Choose a charity or find a local shelter in your area that you could donate your time or money.
🐾 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬!
Whatever you do this week be sure to show your pup extra love and attention! ❤️💕🐶
𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐨𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐦 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝? 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩!
We may not always be able to get our dogs outside for exercise depending on the weather and there are only so many times per day you can walk your dog these days. A snuffle mat is one of many ways you can work on cognitive enrichment with your pup! As you can see Minzi loves this! Dogs of all ages need mental stimulation but this becomes even more important in our aging pups! Not only does this help alleviate boredom, it also makes them use their sense of smell as they are “hunting” for the treats or food put in there.
There are many different types of snuffle mats out there and they are very affordable! This one in particular has different textures and “obstacles” that vary in difficulty with trying to get the treats and keeps Minzi busy for quite some time! There are many other ways you can keep your pup stimulated as this is just one fun example!
Share with us how you work on cognitive enrichment with your pup! It’s always great to learn new ideas!
How are you and your pup getting your energy out?!
Since many of us are now working from home, what are you doing with your pup to avoid going stir crazy?
We have been fortunate enough to have some nice weather here in FL and be outside running around!
Let us know in the comments below what you have been up to!
We are wishing everyone stays safe and healthy!

It’s National Pet Dental Health Month and Minzi would like to point out how important daily teeth brushing is!
It is something we started doing with her as a puppy and now expects it every night as part of her routine (she also knows she gets a reward afterwards).
Daily brushing of your pet’s teeth is the best defense against plaque, tartar build-up, gum disease, and bad breath but we know that isn’t always possible. Dental chews are the next best option, but please make sure to talk with your veterinarian first to see what option is best for your pet.
Regular dental care can also help avoid more serious problems such as heart, lung, or kidney disease!
So get that toothbrush and toothpaste out today and start brushing! Make sure to reward your pet afterwards for doing a great job!
