Today our HOME Cares team got to spend the day with this lovely lady who turned 110 years old today. What an honor to be able to share this special day with this incredible lady. Our amazing minis were rock stars and brought so much joy to her family and friends. 🥰 King 5 video in comments.

Delilah and Malakai 🫶🏼

This unique, heart warming story is what makes HOME, HOME!

Delilah is a sweet soul who came to us after being abandoned in a field and losing her baby. She was friendly from the moment she stepped on the farm, and continues to be one of the bigger personalities at our rescue, despite her past.

We then received a call about an orphaned mini foal. Malakai was in need of a momma to nurse from, and we were hopeful that Delilah would be able to give him what he needed.

It worked! ❤ Malakai was able to return back to his home and Delilah stayed on the farm. She has been a huge part of offering therapeutic connection to the community. By saving her, she has been able to touch so many people and show them how amazing equine connection is! 🐴

❤ Because of our community, we were able to say yes to Delilah and yes to Malakai. Now, this a few hours remaining - We are only $1,035 away from having a full hay barn for winter! ❤

Grace says "Thank you!!" 😍 We are only $1,035 away from our goal!!

Grace, now Jewel, came to us extremely shy. She spooked at any sudden movements, although seemed to have a sweet demeanor. She came to us after having her baby, and we were told she was not often treated nicely at her prior homes. We gave her lots of love and room to trust and she slowly came into her own! 🥰

In January 2022, she found her forever home on Black Horse Farm. We are so blessed she found an amazing place to continue living her best life with her herd! 🦄🌟

Meet Ranger & Tucker! ❤ Two inseparable souls who found their forever home at after trotting through our doors. They're more than just horses; they're a testament to the power of love, care, and second chances.

These brothers, once part of the "Elkhart 11," came to us at 2.5 years old as nervous, untrained studs. But with your support, we transformed their lives. Ranger, a bright sorrel, and Tucker, a beautiful chestnut Appaloosa with white blanket hindquarters, were gelded and given a fresh start.

Now, they're thriving, happy, and living their best lives with a loving family. They've formed an unbreakable bond not only with each other but also with their full size pal.

Emma, now Lyndy, came to us in rough shape with some issues trusting humans. With lots of love and patience, she she started to warm up and stepped into her confidence and super sweet personality! She then moved onto an amazing future with one our veterinarians, where she is thriving! 🎉

❤ Juniper ❤

Success stories like Juniper's only happen because of our amazing community 🎉

This sweet girl lived out her entire life here on the farm until last year! She arrived in Annabelle’s belly in December 2021. Annabelle came to us through a "Free Horse" Craigslist post. As she grew up at the rescue, Juniper's training program helped her blossom into the amazing mini she is! Her kind personality and spunky attitude landed her an amazing forever place to land with HOME residents Coco, Gem, and new friend, Licorice! 🌟

We always plan to see a mini horse or donkey through their whole life, even once they leave the farm and find their forever home. We are so grateful that with your help we have the resources to do this for any equine that makes their "pit stop" at our rescue, no matter how long they need to stay. ❤

This is Willow ~ This gal came to us with an unknown but clearly unfortunate past. She was extremely shy of people, so we gave her lots of patience and time to fit in on the farm. We took training slowly and allowed her to go at her own pace. Once she learned that us volunteers here at HOME were here to love and help, she shined! We were able to find an amazing home that understood her past and gave her a promising future, and she got to take on her new life with her friend Bella! 🌟

❤🐴 This is Waylon, Boone, and Hannah's story 🐴❤

Hannah came to us in a rough place as she was riding solo after the death of her partner and found extremely listless and upset.

Then came Waylon & Boone from Eugene - They were shown at auction separately and caused quite the ruckus calling out for each other.

We knew we had to give Waylon & Boone the opportunity to live out their best lives as a bonded pair. The love they had for each other spread and soon enough Hannah was a part of their squad! We found them an amazing, loving family who appreciates the bond this donkey trio has. 🥰

Ember has an announcement! 🌟

We are nearing the end of our hay fundraiser this year and are truly amazed at the generosity of our followers here - thank you so much for investing into the brighter futures of mini equine. ❤

With only 1 day left to reach our $16,000 goal - we are currently $3,250 away from doing that! That adds up to only 93 bales of hay from keeping mini bellies full through the winter months - Are you able to donate a bale? ❄

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU - $12,750 is a remarkable amount to go towards feeding these minis. 🎉

Ember came to us as a pregnant mare. After a long journey of late nights, sore feet, and keeping her comfortable, this sweet girl went into labor. The vet quickly came to the farm and determined she was going to need to be transported to the vet hospital. Upon Ember's arrival, the vets got to work and decided Ember was going to need an emergency c-section. Ember's foal, named Ash, was a stillborn mule. 💔

We invested more than 350 hours watching the stall cameras to ensure we could help, but alas, there was nothing that could have saved the foal. When the question was euthanize Ember or save her with an emergency C-Section we choose to save Ember since we knew she has every possible chance for a wonderful happy long life ahead. While we grieve the loss of this foal, the vets have continued to ensure Ember's health and survival and we are so appreciative of their knowledge and talents to help this girl.

She is now in a community where humans care so much for her. We are so grateful for our community that continuously pours into saving these minis and making sure they have a bright future ahead. ❤

🐴❤ Bandit & Winston ❤🐴

These two boys came to us as just babies in March 2022 ~ Starved, sick, and searching for hope.

These 6 month old young-ins were desperate for a better future. They were both studs in rough shape, runny noses, underweight, and very wary of humans. It took a lot of time to get them both healthy and comfortable with human interaction. We are so glad we could give them the patience and time they needed to show their personalities and flourish! 🌟

HOME is in the interest of giving all minis a better life. We wouldn't be able to do this without all of your support in donating and sharing our progress with your friends and family, thank you! ❤
