CIDR’s, the bane of my existence this year.

Instead of watching awkward goat porn… my view is of Trifecta scratching his head on a twig, while Nebula cries “Maaaaaa”. It’s a bad day when even the big galoot realizes he isn’t getting lucky. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The builder is breaking ground for our new barn, so John had to move the kid shed out of the way. Tractor leaned, and had wheels off the ground, but the shed eventually made it to the new spot.

If all goes well , we will be kidding in a heated barn come February!! He spoils me—or he’s tired of hearing me complain about the cold, either way 👍!🤣

$100 - *B J&M Hideaway KAI Trifecta
Tri has an impressive pedigree. His sire is Elite SGCH J&R Spirit's HT-K KaiTai, and his dam is a GCH with a linear appraisal score of VEEE FS91. Tri is a long, wide, and correct buck.

Trifecta passes down width and length to his offspring, and he's known to improve escutcheon height.

Chip is a 2 year old buck out of Lynnhaven and Goddard show and milk lines. His dam looked great at 9 years old and was still milking well.

In Chip's offspring, we've seen an improvement in overall balance, dairyness, neck length, and width (particularly rear).

Orion is a 2 year old, lanky, buck. He is going to be a BIG buck, so he has a LOT of filling in to do. He is a little narrow in the front, but so far he hasn't passed that down to his offspring. This is his 3rd season breeding.

Orion's offspring have some of the calmest, easy-going personalities. In his kids we see good breed character, width, length, depth, and even dairyness. His littermate sister's udder is a dream to milk. Excellent teat placement, and texture is phenomenal. She milks down to nothing, no meaty udder!

We plan to breed Nebula next month for a February kidding date as a 2 year old first freshener. Despite how she appears in photos while contorting herself—and making it look like she’s squeezing her butt cheeks together 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣—She is a long, wide, solid doe. She did well at the one show we managed to get out to this year. We’re excited to see her freshen and expect that she will have a lovely, capacious udder. She has 1 doe reservation available, and 1 wether.
