She is showing definite signs of progression in her labor! Her temp has stayed around 99.5 since yesterday night and she is nesting much more heavily now!
Poor girl is getting more uncomfortable and we hope that these babies will be making their arrival soon!

Wayside Waifs has already euthanized Poppi.
This sweet loving boy lost his life and was failed by humans for the last time..
He was terrified and traumatized suffering severe kennel stress.
He had no bite history. He wasn’t a danger to the community.
He wasn’t even given a full evaluation.
I’m sorry I couldn’t save you my sweet boy!

With literally 40 minutes to spare Ember was saved from euthanasia and today got his freedom ride to Kansas City to his new foster!!
He absolutely loved getting spoiled on his trip with a pup cup and cheeseburger!!
He sure is feeling the love and we can’t wait to see this boy finally have the chance to thrive in his second chance life!! ❤️🐾❤️
