HOT TIP! 🔥💡Hot Dog idea number 3!🌭❄️☀️where has this come from and where is it going?! Melting over here. 😰A lot of dogs won’t drink enough water in this hot weather so check below for our top tip.
A frozen lick pad 👅! Make this super simple frozen ice tray that’ll encourage pooch to drink more during the day. Simply take a silicone ice tray and tumble in a selection of favourite treats, we love summer berries and crumbled biscuit. Then pour over a low salt, diluted chicken stock. Allow to freeze solid. You can lay this out and let your dog lick at the ice to get to their treats. Unlike loose blocks they won’t just crunch at them to get the treats but will have to lick and take on the water to get there! Enjoy! (Always run ice under water before giving to your dog to remove dry freeze) 🧊

Make your own ice dispenser 🧊❗️
If you’re anything like us you already know the perfect build to keep pooch entertained as long as possible. But let’s take it one step further! You may be used to filling a kong (or any other dispense treat) so you can’t get the filling out, but for this don’t worry so much, just fill it with lots of mouldable, soft foods. We opted for some pure meat pate mixed with some crushed biscuit and layered vegetables otunsome fresh food, which was then topped with some diced carrot and bell pepper, and all held in place with a dollop of pure peanut butter! Pop this in a Tupperware to catch any spills, and freeze overnight! Frozen this will take much longer than a regular kong! Enjoy!!

HOT TIP! 🔥💡Need ideas to keep a hot dog cool this summer? 🌭❄️☀️
Join Albus here in a frozen fish feast. Simply take one of our Salmon fish cake biscuits and a handful of other treats or bits of veg. Stick all in a plastic pot with some twine or string trailing into it and hanging out the side. Pour over low salt chicken stock till the treats and string are covered (leave the fishy’s tail and ends of the string peeking out!) and leave to freeze until solid. Remove from the plastic pot, tie up somewhere and enjoy! (Always run ice under water before giving to your dog to remove the dry freeze). 🐾 keep your paws peeled for more of Albus’s cooling summer tips! 😍🍓

🍃 Usually at the mention of mint this guy runs for the hills, so how have these BREATH BITES got him jumping for joy? (Spoiler: it’s 🧀)
Firstly the offending mint. It isn’t the only thing for removing breath odour, and it mainly masks it. So we use a blend of mostly parsley and just a dash of mint, both of which fight odour bacteria. Combined with crunchy shards of carrot these treats help ease the source of bad breath, not just mask it. Then of course there’s that cheese for extra Yums!! (A teeny bit of low fat cheddar). Breath bites coming soon.
