All of remaining Yellowstone puppies got bathed tonight. While they were playing in the floor I accidentally stepped on (barely) the purple collar girls paw. She held it up & whined so of course I felt AWFUL, picked her up to love on her & make sure she was ok. WELL yellow collar brother obviously noticed the extra attention she was getting & started holding up his paw too!!! Y’all!!! He wasn’t even near her when I stepped on her but he’s holding his paw up too. I got a picture of his dramatics!!! I’m cracking up at these babies! Hope y’all enjoy an abundance of cuteness bc here it comes!!!

This litter is the Doodles of Yellowstone! At 3 wks old these babies are incredibly cute & oh so tiny. Mom is doing a fantastic job nursing & making sure her babies are clean!!! I’ll post individual pictures in the comments.

Paisley was ready to pop & boy did she. Took her out first thing this morning & she had her 1st puppy OUTSIDE under the pergola😳🤦🏼‍♀️ After digging a hole to be able to reach puppy #1 she birthed the next 2 inside, pup #4 was stillborn, she then had puppies 5,6, & 7 and completely stopped and took a nap….this went on for hours.
Called the vet and she told to bring her in for another X-ray.. well there were 3 more hanging out with ZERO interest in making an appearance. At this point doc felt it was time to help sweet paisley progress. Calcium glutamate & oxytocin was pushed & labor began again…. Puppy #8 was stillborn, puppy # 9 was perfect, puppy # 10 was not breathing but was able to be stimulated and is now doing amazing.
It’s been a LONG day & I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster all day.
Paisley is doing great, the 8 puppies are all nursing, and this caretaker is exhausted!!! I’ll post more pics after we’ve rested & had time to adjust.
