Buddy needs a foster. His owner
is moving into assisted living and she is not taking him with her. He is 7 years old and weighs about 30 lbs. He needs to lose a few of those to be his best self.
Buddy is the sweetest boy in the whole wide world. He loves everyone, including all dogs and cats. Buddy enjoys strolling the neighborhood and cuddling on the couch. He is very easy going and housetrained.
Can anyone give Buddy a temporary place to land? He is going to be sad losing his mom.
He will be scared and devastated if he goes to his local shelter.

Reason for rehoming:
Someone on the ring app found this baby during the storm. Since no one claimed him we decided to pick him up to avoid them taking him to DAS. We took him to treat a cut he had on his back and is now on antibiotics to help heal fast. Sadly, he is not microchipped and not neutered.
We are going to the vet today to get shots and overall wellness exam. We are willing to foster but not keep him long term. If anyone is looking for a friendly addition to your family, Luka is your guy. He is sweet, calm, and loves belly rubs.

We rescued Ivy from a local shelter last month. She is having her surgery middle of the month on her ear canal.
In her short 2 yr old life she spent it with untreated ear infections. When those aren't addressed the infection takes over and canal closes up keeping the dog in a great deal of pain. If you've ever had an ear infection, you know how much it hurts. No different for these pups.
She was spay immediately at our vet and is now current on vaccines microchip etc
She will be available for adoption once healed from surgery. She's only 15 lbs being fostered with pugs.

A few weeks ago, a volunteers coworker said hey there's a dog out here that needs your help. Thinking he was joking...
She got up and checked.
Sure enough, there was a dog quickly running away matted dirty,hungry. The pup wasn't going to just come to her. So she got another volunteer Patty Strong involved. Patty had a trap she could borrow, not only did she bring it to her job she helped set it up and with Kristi Hernandez suggesting what to bait it with. Pup set trap off within a few hours. Local city shelter was notified found,the pup immediately taken to a vet and groomed. Very under weight 7 lbs. thriving in foster care and doing of so much better. Thank you Lynette and Dan for fostering her.
