Paradise has been waiting 4 months to find his forever family and start his next big adventure!

With his high-energy, eager-to-please attitude, he has been practicing his obedience skills and can’t wait to impress his future family.

Meet Paradise, our newest Care Package Pup! 🐾✨ This 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix is a high-energy, friendly dog who’s always up for an adventure.

He loves active play, long walks, and cuddling on the couch. He’s housebroken, learning new commands, and eager to please. Paradise isn’t a fan of cats or being crated, but he’s happy to relax in the sunshine or on a cozy spot indoors.

He’s waiting at the for his forever family to find him. 💕

🎉 Meet Barley, our February Floof of the Month!

This lovable luscious floof charms everyone with his sweet smile, sunny personality, and adorable quirks.

🐾 What’s the Breed?: He is an English Cream Golden Retriever.

🥏 Favorite Activities: Barley is a lover of all things Tug toys, frisbees, swimming, chewing on sticks, making friends, and cuddling!

💛 Favorite Nermington’s Product: Our Halloween bandana!!

🤓 Fun Quirks: Barley adopts a new family on every walk and secretly sits on the couch when his family leaves the house even though he knows he’s not allowed on furniture.

Barley’s story is a reminder that sometimes life’s detours can lead to the most meaningful destinations.

Barley came from who raises service dogs for veterans. His family discovered early in his training that he had severe allergies and would not be able to go to a veteran due to the upkeep to keep him comfortable. They ended up keeping him and he makes them smile every day!

For eight long months, Josephine waited in a shelter, not knowing what her future held.

Turns out to be worse than this sweet little pup ever imagined—dangerous heartworms that nearly sealed her fate.

The vets didn’t think she’d survive, but the volunteers? They refused to give up on her.

With the help of her foster mom and dedicated caregivers, Josephine fought through months of tough treatment and is now heartworm-free.

Today, she’s at the , waiting for a family to call her own.
