Each litter is raised in our home and socialized with family, other dogs, and other animals on the property.

We are home after a long weekend in Portland at the Rose City Classic. 😌

Hope came home with 6 qualifying runs in agility, an Excellent FAST title, 3 qualifying runs in Rally, amd a Rally Advance title. Midna went Reserve Winners Bitch 2 out of 4 days. 🥰 Considering how overwhelming the venue was (biggest show/trial any of us have ever been to), I am super proud with how well they both handled it all. Hope was also a great ambassador for Pembroke's and sacrificed her time in exchange for many pets (and a few suprise hugs from kids).

The time spent with old and new dog friends was wonderful! The stress I had taking on this big of show and being stupid/brave (I haven't figured which yet) to do multiple things while there (Midna in conformation and Hope in agility/rally/obedience), was so much more manageable with them. I truly appreciate you!

I'll post some of our highlight videos this week but for now, we all need a rest.

Our first trip to Portland for the Rose City Classic is starting out well. Midna took Reserve Winners Bitch in conformation and Hope should have had a qualifying run in Premier Jumpers (our first time running on turf).
Tomorrow Hope and I add Rally and Obedience to our daily schedule 😬

Took Hope, Navi, and Ember into Spokane to Northtown Mall for their CGC Advanced and Urban Canine tests. 3 days before Christmas and the mall is nuts! The girls did great and all 3 passed both tests. 🥳

Christmas came early for Ember! 🤩
I have never ordered a custom collar for my dogs but ever since she was little, I envisioned a blingy collar for my Roo. Shandy's Lakeside Leather delivered and created something beyond what I could have imagined. I spent the better part of the day messaging them and asking a TON of questions before I even decided to order. Some of my wants in a custom collar were unrealistic for the quality I was looking for and they answered every question and gave me the why's.
If you are considering having a custom collar made for your dog, I can't recommend Ken and Heather enough. They care about their customers and putting out a quality product.

We didn't get much in the ring this weekend but I am super proud of all my girls!
This was my daughter's last hurrah as a Jr before she ages out and she did a stellar job. Considering she only decided this year to show in Jr's and she was able to level up to where she was when she finished is fantastic!
Navi and Midna also did well! Midna showed and did well on the table, while Navi was my rockstar. She was in the ring for breed AND Jr's along with a 3rd time for sweepstakes on Saturday. She was tired but handled everything well. I swapped her out for Midna for Jr's on Sunday as Navi was clearly letting us know that she was done.
Well done everyone!

We are at our final show of the year in Monroe, WA
Today both girls took their class and Midna beat the other girl in her Bred By class. Neither girl advanced any further. They are good and tired now!

My happiest moment at the agility trial this weekend wasn't what Hope and I did in the ring (Hope did amazing as per her usual with 2 double q days and 6/9 total runs being qualifiers). It was Hope's granddaughter, Ember-roo the Corgi passing her CGC test! It is one more milestone checked off in this journey I am on with her.

(I did get approval from AKC to have the test altered slightly as Ember cannot physically perform the 'down on command' while in her wheelchair)

One of my favorite things, is hearing from my puppy parents. The best thing is when they let me know they are in the area!
I had the opportunity to see Link with his mom while they are in town so of course I did what I could to make it work. And I brought the girls along with me. 😆

Today was a much better day!
Our placements didn't change but the girls showed like they normally do and not like the unsociable critters they were yesterday.

Just when you think you have things figured out, the corgis keep you humble.

I share the good and if I am to be transparent, I should share the not so good.
Today was day 1 of the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club Specialty and it did not go well for us. Something had Navi upset and Midna needs more work with men so neither girl showed very well. I was very discouraged and frustrated. It's not like these girls sit at home all the time. But after a few conversations where friends and supporters reminded me that they are still young and I need to keep going and push through 😌

Mail came for the dogs this week.
Hope recieved her Open FAST Agility certificate, Faith recieved her Excellent Standard certificate, and Midna recieved her CGC certificate.
Hope and I also competed in our first ISC agility trial this weekend. There were tough courses but my little breadloaf earned the small dogs level 2 overall winner.

We had a fantastic time at the Rally Roundup this weekend. Hope scored a 99 with second place in Intermediate and Navi scored a 94 in Novice today. Both girls earned their titles 🤩 (pending AKC approval)

Both girls did fantastic in Rally again today and each earned a 97. Hope was lagging but stayed engaged. Navi was definitely not lagging but was also willing to reengage and do what was asked.

Navi had her debut into Novice Rally today. I didn't work with her as much as I should have so I went into today just looking to get her accustomed to working with me in front of a crowd. When we entered the ring, she was willing to try and we came out with a score of 94 and her first Q. 😮 This little girl has her grandma Hope's willing to try attitude and her mama's happy personality. I'm looking forward to seeing where this girl can take me.

Hope is such a fantastic little worker! I don't do this girl justice. Rally is still very new to me and she is willing to try. Anytime we enter ANY ring, she gives me her heart. She rocked today's rally intermediate course with a score of 98 and a first place. Hope is my foundation girl and while she isn't up to breed standard (learning curve on my part), her temperament, clean genetics, and wonderful work ethic gave me a good start in what I knew was going to be a long and rough journey.

I am so thrilled with how quickly Navi learned tunnel. It still has a slight curve but we have worked at it a couple times only. Her willingness to work, enthusiasm for a job, and drive makes me anxious for her agility career.
