New home for a “live wire “please.
We will soon be seeking a home for an 8 month old Golden Retriever boy who comes from working lines. We are still gathering all the facts. If you have good knowledge of the character, high energy levels and intelligence of this type of Golden Retriever please email us- “we love the working lines”. He will benefit from gun dog work, obedience, scent-work or agility. He is bright and keen to learn.
All our dogs are in the South of England and more than one meeting would be necessary.We do please need a secure garden.

A day working from my husbands desk whilst he’s away. The dogs love days like this as instead of lying on the couch where I work they get the privilege of lazying on the bed. It will be a change of bedding night tonight so I always let them have this treat before I change the bedding. Also I’m loving the view from window. Not always appreciated in the rush of life.

I’m making this a weekend celebration. It’s been an invaluable week of learning and a huge thank you to Rebecca Walters who has put the national breeders convention all together with amazing guest speakers. We all have a duty to our dogs and the families to be the best breeders we can be. The support I’ve had from Pupstarts Breeders has allowed me to continue to learn and progress in a positive environment. .

Daisy (aka it’s me, hi) is loving her new life with Dorothy. Dorothy trusted me to choose the pup for her (as she loved them all). Doing puppy profiling helped with this. Daisy was one of the quieter ones of the pups but also showed independence. Daisy liked the other dogs but didn’t particularly over play with them, Daisy preferred to sit with one of the humans and lie her head on them than over play. Daisy has ended up being Dorothy’s best friend and the picture with her with the black lab is her daughters dog Cali who has the same grandparents as Daisy. (Missy - daisys mum was a black lab).

Extract from Dorothy’s message to me this week.

“Daisy has found she can jump on my bed, so there went my no dogs on bed rule. She sleeps til 6.30 and then sits on my head as a wake-up call! I still love the fact you chose so well for me. I am extremely grateful. Oh, and not a pick of bother with fireworks”
