A couple weeks ago, a witness came forward and shared that they were in conversation with a woman with the same name as the dog sitter approximately 10 days before July 4th.
This witness was part of an Austin dog group on Nextdoor and was looking to buy a new labradoodle puppy. The witness ended up initially connecting with the woman through the Nextdoor app but they took their conversation offline.
The witness said that the woman told her that she had a "𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙚, 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙡𝙚𝙨."
The witness did not end up getting the labradoodle because the woman could not provide proof of ownership or vet records, nor could she answer basic questions about the dog's health.
Because of this, we believe that there could be more people out there who may have had a conversation with a woman about a "cinnamon colored labradoodle" or “mini labradoodle” for sale, sometime between June 25th and today.
