A Volunteer Registration is being coordinated by Federated Farmers

Cyclone Gabrielle has caused devastation across the upper and eastern North Island. This survey/questionnaire is designed to collect volunteer information to be used to assist in the recovery from this event .

By filling out the survey/questionnaire you agree your information can be shared with the appropriate parties so they are able to contact you to assist in the recovery efforts.

You will need to tick the final box to ensure your details are kept.

My apologies to those who have messaged and not heard back from me. Over the last 6 months I took a break from cinch making as I had a few life changes.

This one and another which I forgot to photograph 🤦‍♀️ are for a Taranaki local lass.
Her horse was proving very problematic with girth fittings, she had changed saddles but the same problem reared its ugly head. She also bought & tried many expensive girth’s before contacting me. Her horse had been galling so I lent her my cinch to try.....her response was... “wahoo it works, no more girth galls”
So happy to have helped another horse and owner.

I have been asked the same couple of questions on numerous occasions over the past year...
“where do you live”
“do you make cinches full time”

So I thought I’d pop up a small bio into my world...
I am based in rural Taranaki, New Zealand, right under our mountain, it’s very much a “sleepy hollow”... native bird song from dawn to dusk, not much traffic and a peaceful serenity abounds.
I am a Trades Academy Equine Tutor for Primary ITO (high school based programme) so I teach two days a week and work the rest from home as the National Administration for the Trades Academy Team. I literally get to work and breathe horses! So, so fortunate! So between teaching, making cinches, riding my horse, renovating our property and hanging out with my grandkids, my life is pretty much full on.

The photos depict my riding spot on my doorstep, it’s a national scenic reserve that not many know about or use...lucky me!!
