So I missed out the most important part of The Wild Poo Project.

For every poo collected and logged(😂) on their spreadsheet they donate 10p to a dog charity every month!

Check out the June total, and they only started on the 21st!

As a pro dog-walker a big part of my jobby is to pick up dog poos, and I love it! We dog-walkers like to keep our work environment clean and no-one likes stepping in sneaky sh*ts so we pick up ALL the poos we see as we’re walking the woofers.

My friends at The Wild Poo Project are trying to promote making our beautiful island cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone (no thanks to mis-leading headlines from some of the ‘media’).

We’re documenting how many wild poos we pick up when we’re out and about. I was at La Landes du Ouest Gorselands near Corbiere yesterday and scooped 4 wild hot dog dumplings! Not many, which is good!

We’re so sad to hear that our Snoopy passed over the rainbow bridge today. He was a huge part of Yapper’s Delight and brought lots of fun to every walk. He will be missed by all of his friends ❤️🐶🌈

It's getting Hot! Hot! Hot! and predicted to get hotter still!

Many dogs get heatstroke when their owners take them out during high temperatures. Let's prevent heatstroke by knowing when it's safe to take your dog outside, and please contact us if you think your dog might have heatstroke! And remember to keep your pets hydrated and are given plenty of shade. Enjoy the sunshine, but please keep tabs on your pets

Signs of heat stroke include but are not limited to:

Heavy panting and difficulty breathing.
Excessively drooling.
The dog appearing lethargic, drowsy or uncoordinated.
Collapsed or vomiting.

Exercising in temps over 20 degrees can be a risk to fit healthy dogs, much lower for elderly, obese, flat-faced or large breed dogs 🌡️🔥

Take them for a walk early morning or evening when it’s cool.
