My heart is so broken today. We said an unexpected goodbye to my heart dog Ferdi. My first Peruvian love. The goodest and bestest dog ever. So sweet and funny, always fell asleep sitting up holding my hand or bringing me random gifts to show me what he proudly had. The dog I always took to the beach and expos and anywhere where peopling was happening. He loved peopling. Oh my heart is so broken 💔

Teddy is still looking for a family of his own. He is a happy, friendly and goofy chap who is about 6 months old. My house is overcrowded and he would love some more attention.
We don't get many long coats, especially in this colour. He is a large boy but no trouble, just a silly pup who needs love and guidance. He's waiting for you!!

Heading to the airport shortly to bring this guy back home. If you think your couch is the one for him, please contact me. Lilac is an unusual colour for Peruvians. He carries the long coat gene which is why he has fluffy bits, also an uncommon but natural occurrence. He is a special boy to be sure! And those eyes!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

So why do I sterilized pups before they go to new homes??
Well, a dog that has had a Tubal ligation or vasectomy can still be shown.. but not bred from. I don't sell entire dogs to unapproved potential breeding homes for pet price.
So much goes into our dogs. Money, time, careful thought and practices, council and registration fees and so on and so on..
So many times I have had people tell me they are just after a pet and then suddenly don't want one when they find they can't breed from them.. what does that tell me?? That they were wanting to breed from them.
You want a dog to show? Yep no problem, they are entire, but sterilized.
You want a dog to breed, I have questions for you about how you are going to go about this and with whom you're registered with, your experience, plans and knowledge of the breed, DNA testing and ethics. And then, it's a maybe, but not for pet price, as all our precious dogs and hard work is not just going to be handed over unless you're prepared to invest from the start.
Breeding is expensive, hard work and not going to fill your pockets with money from puppy sales... unless you're doing it wrong, which I won't enable.
We have a rare and ancient breed. This means importing of dogs and semen, DNA testing to breed appropriately, research and working with vets and genetic companies to investigate anything we haven't seen before, and trying to avoid having to ever see it again.
Our dogs must be cared for. They must be fed, exercised and stimulated, socialised, groomed, have veterinary care, appropriately housing and fencing, emergency plans and 'just in case' emergency money set aside..
What we do, is out of love and passion. And it is for the breed that we do it, not to line our pockets.
