💭 A Quote That Hit Me Deep Today

“Part of me is still grieving the loss of our other dog, part of me thinks I’ll never get this dog to where I need him to be, and the other part is trying desperately to make it work.”

This is part of an inquiry we received today and it really struck a chord. It reminded me why we do what we do.
When I first started dog training, I thought I wanted to work with dogs and not people. But the truth is, every dog I work with comes with a person who’s trying their best. Over time, I’ve learned that helping people through their struggles with their dogs is one of the most fulfilling things in my life.
I feel grateful every day for the trust my clients place in me, especially when they’re going through such deeply emotional moments. My business is small, but my heart for this work is big — and I wouldn’t be here without you. 🫶🏻
