Buzwagi Gold Mine Snake capture and Relocation/Translocation Short Course; I’ve Just finished running a five-day short course on How to Work Safely in Snakes Environment inBuzwagi Gold Mine, Kahama Tanzania, for 10 dedicated and highly-motivated Environmental andSecurity staffs. An absolute pleasure, and my thanks to Buzwagi Gold Mine Management, Collegeof African Wildlife Management-Mweka and Miss Zonnastraal who arranged and facilitated thecourse. Although the emphasis was on How to catch venomous snakes, but we went further on howto identify them, how to use snake handling equipment, proper procedure on catching venomoussnakes and proper snakebite first aid

Conservation Officer (Severini Mushi) and Conservation Ranger (Swalehe Amri) working at Pande Game Reserve, rescued another Python from chicken house.
This is second Python in three months rescued by this TAWA officers.

Boaedon fuliginosus are relatively small species of brown snake found across Africa. They are normally a dark brown colour with thin stripes of white or a creamy colour running from the head all the way along the body. The females typically grow to 120cm with a maximum recorded 150cm while the males are normally only around 60cm long.
They are completely harmless and are very l m commonly found around towns in Sub-Sahara Africa.
This one in the video was found along one of the office’s at the College of African Wildlife Management Mweka and one of the biggest size of BHS captured in the Area.
