Warmsworth walk ..this was before the hot weather struck ...they have been keeping cool at home these last few days ...taken out very late at night...please do all you can to make it easier for them in this heat 🙏

Just a message for all the doggy pawrents out there

Dear Mum and Dad,

Let me stay home. It's too hot for me to walk and run next to you. But because I am a loyal dog, I often go beyond my limits. So I walk and run beside you, standing still if I have to.
And feel my paws burn.
I'm looking at you for a moment, but you do not understand. Because in a little over 5 minutes we're at the cool puddle, right? But those little 5 minutes
can be fatal to me. Because I sweat through my paws, and in this heat I just cannot get rid of the sweat. My whole body is boiling, but I keep going
And then I end up on the tarmac. In the heat and in the sun. With my tongue out of my mouth and my eyes flashing in the sun. My paws are burning, my
tongue is dry and my head is pounding in the heat that my body cannot get rid of…

Instead, let me stay at home where I can enjoy the sun, with a large bowl of cool water, somewhere in the shade. And best of all like in a cool area with grass.

Today is Oscar's 15th birthday 🎂💖🐶🐾...happy birthday my boy....my best friend 💖🙏🐶 He has loved his chicken day🐔🐔 🤣and his new bed/ toys/ treats and walk....he's now sat staring at the fridge for more chicken. 🤣 All these years of unconditional love from him 💖 ....I'm very blessed 🙏 💖

His birthday walk to cusworth today 😊 he knew that there is chicken at home and he kept running back to the car to get in and go home to eat it ...he's been staring at the fridge a lot because he knows it's in there 🤣😋🐶 ....... Both loved their walk ....running around like a little spring lambs 🤣💖🙏

Having a rest with the old girl and old boy in the sun ...local sprotbrough walk today......they aren't as active as they were but still going strong at nearly 14 and 15 .. .it's Oscars 15th birthday on Monday 4th of July... so I'm getting him his usual cooked chicken with candles in it 🤣...he's having a new memory foam bed and a new collar 💖🐶🙏🐾. 😊

Mablethorpe treat today for the old boy & girl. The first time ever where Oscar didn't want to go in the sea swimming. He is nearly 15 .. so they are both shattered and happy now ....especially after some fish from the chippy. 💖🙏🐶🐕
