Happy 1st gotch day Larry …you have been with us a year today and have embedded yourself in to our family ….you are younger brother to Maisie our shaggy rescue from Romania and Dudley cat and live in Scotland

We have loved you from the start and you continue to grow and become yourself .
Yes you are scent driven and we had conquered that with Maisie and then you ignited that with her again 🤣 we had our work cut out as we were determined you should (for the most part ) be off the lead …. You wear bells on your collar and a tracker and a vibrating collar and David has worked so hard on every walk realising your body language and guiding you and what a team you are for the most part now you are off lead and David doesn’t need to buzz you or use the tracker and you get to run which is you favourite thing

You have been on two holidays to holiday cottages and been in pubs cafes shops charming everyone and promoting rescues 👏👏👏

You are loved and safe and happy you love your walks but love being cosy and snuggling up to Maisie by the log burner …we are getting soft in our old age and although all our other dogs have slept by the side of our bed you sleep in the bed …thankfully Maisie only jumps up in the morning to wake us

We are all the lucky ones though aren’t we ….rescue dogs are just the best
David said not to bore you with too many pictures but I fear I’m going to fail

Well Larry is on holiday and having a wonderful time …he’s had his first visit to the beach and has been off the lead with a long line and a tracker and was very good not off for long but loved it he’s been in his first pub and again been so well behaved he has told us he loves holidays and he loves his big sister who is showing him how to behave and … my goodness what a cuddly dog Larry is he clambours all over us and his face first thing in the morning is just the best

A belated hello from Austin who arrived with us on Tuesday…Austin wants to say hello to his lovely foster mum and tell her thank you and he is settling in just fine. He has met his doggy sister Maisie and cat brother Dudley and all going well. He is such a lovable chap and already his personality is coming through, and we can’t wait to see all his firsts!
Oh and after much debate Austin is now Larry 🐶

I’m off to my forever home early next week so getting plenty of extra bitey face cuddles in the bank with my pal Chester 🥰🐾

Foster mum says I’ve been a joy and a delight to foster and cannot understand why black dogs are considered so unlucky in some countries. She says I’m such a lucky boy to have ended up under Apollo’s Angels care and now going on to live my best life. I have to agree ❤️

Today I have:

• Slept all through the night and not a peep was heard
• Done all my pees and poos outside 💩
• Been out for a couple of little walks “just to the lamppost and back”. What’s a lamppost I ask you?
• Done a bit of sunbathing
• Didn’t worry when foster mum left us for 600 hours to go and have her flu jab. She claims it was only one hour 😊
• Eaten all my food until some fool stuck fruit in with my tea. That confused me for a while 🍌

Foster mum says I’m a legend and I’m inclined to agree 😊🐾

Well, I’ve had a rather busy time recently!! Yesterday I flew on an aeroplane to a new country and met two new woofers 😊

I was a bit scared after my car journey but I’m relaxing now. As you can see in the first piccie, I’m VERY relaxed this morning 💤🥱

I’ve been told this house is just a temporary home and I will be moving to my forever home shortly. More new adventures 😃

More updates to come, I must go back to sleep now 😂
