Our newest Puppy Basics class registration is open!! We have two classes to choose from! 🙀 🐾

In this 6-week class aimed at puppies up to 5 months of age, we talk about all the ways puppies often get themselves into trouble and how to navigate training to gain desired behaviors.

🐕We also focus on canine socialization and discuss the importance of early and appropriate socialization for your puppy!

This will be an indoor class located at 170 Bennett's Road in Portugal Cove- St. Phillip's and will be held:
📌 Sundays from 3:00pm-3:45pm starting on February 9
📌 Sundays from 4:15pm-5:00pm starting on February 9

Please reach out to our clinic or to our Behaviorist Amanda if you need assistance. Training is a crucial aspect of having a dog in your life. And just like children, dogs need socialization and schooling to become well-behaved companions. Every dog—giant breeds and toys, from puppy to seniors has what it takes to learn a trick or two😊

Congratulations to our very first Confident Canines Field Trips Graduates: Misty, Henry, Matilda, Thor and missing from photos, Dax.

It’s always scary but exciting opening up a new class offering, but this group makes me want to do 100 more! I love always getting to have clients back from previous classes to continue to build on skills but with reactive dogs, ensuring we have safe proximity for each dog to succeed in addition to a predictable, low traffic environment, finding places that we feel comfortable to group up to practice can be tough but I’m so happy how it turned out and I can’t wait for the next one.

Congrats to our most recent Confident Canine 1 graduates. It has been a pleasure watching you and your dogs find ways to cope with reactivity and working through the feelings for a more calm dog! I look forward to seeing your progress into the future. We were missing a few of our friends at graduation (Frankie, Alfie & Murphy). We missed you all!

Happy New Year All!

I am officially back but I have VERY limited availability this week due to sick kiddos.

Group Class tonight and tomorrow night are going ahead but anyone that has reached out for a Private lesson and we haven't worked with each other in a little bit (basically only anyone I was working with in December) will be contacted Monday next week when my kiddos are well to be scheduled based on availability.

Let's hope 2025 is a little kinder to my family and our immune systems! Appreciate your kindness and patience :)

Merry Christmas to all my clients and supporters !

Please note that I will be taking a much needed break until January 6th.

Thank you for filling 2024 with so much joy. I am so proud of so many of my clients seeing progress in their training. Finding ways to better fulfill our dog’s lives so they are happier and healthier is a passion of mine and training without using pain gives me an immense sense of pride watching nervous dogs come out of their shells, reactive dogs learning to be more calm and helping owners feel better equipped to read their dogs’ body language, signs of stress and how to help them deal with it. I love being able to see dogs and young kids co-habitating safely by helping set up solid management plans to ensure everyone is set up for success.

Here’s to many more success stories in 2025 💛

Have you heard about our Puppy Social happening tomorrow (December 7)?? 🐶

Puppy Socials are the perfect place for your puppy to play with other puppies in a well-controlled environment. These socials will be supervised by a member of our daycare staff to ensure puppies are playing nice and politely to ensure they are set up for success as they get older.

Puppy Socials can also help owners educate themselves on what appropriate play looks like and what we deem as inappropriate when it comes to playing with other dogs. We help owners navigate through puppy body language and help them understand how to read their dog during a play session.

Puppies must be under 7 months unless given special permission from daycare staff to attend and must have at least 2 rounds of the DA2PP vaccine and one Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine.

$15 each with a $10 deposit required at booking or package of 4 available for $50.

I'm so pleased to see the progress each of you has made over these last number of weeks on your dog's reactivity training. Practice makes progress, and I love watching each of you set your dogs up to succeed throughout this class.

It has been an absolute pleasure, and I am sad that we will not be seeing each other every week.
