A person who will make sure he has fresh clean water available.. always AND food every day. A person who will let him out regularly for bathroom business. Lastly, a person who will accept how he looks and will love him anyway.

Meet Laurel! She is a one year old, very sweet, affectionate chow mix. She had six puppies who all founds homes. Now, Laurel needs a foster to adopt home. She loves to play with the other dogs but sometimes guards her food and toys and therefore may be better as an only pet or with an older dog who can teach her manners and help her to feel comfortable. We are working on this. She is now eating well with the pack after a rough start. Laurel is being treated for heartworms and needs a local foster/adopter in the St. Louis area. For a young chow who has been through so much, she is so sweet!
