It's not just a business, it's a PASSION💜

My family may say I'm downright annoying because I talk dog daily. I think if time and space permitted we would have almost 1 of every dog, and a few other animals. My daughter would be so pleased!

To say I love what I do is an understatement. I also understand we are not a good fit for all. It can be costly to provide best quality meals and unfortunately the cost is reflected in our prices. I only ask all pet owners that if you don't choose Miss Avery's K-9 Cuisine, just be sure to choose healthy. They deserve it, don't they?

⚠️ Heatstroke can be deadly for dogs ... or cause permanent brain or organ damage.

Your dog doesn’t sweat the way you do. He only has sweat glands in his nose and in the pads of his feet. Panting is the only way he can cool himself, and sometimes it isn’t enough.

🌡️ A dog’s normal body temperature is somewhere between 100.5 to 102.5 degrees. A dog will start to experience heat stroke when he temperature is over 105 degrees. At around 106 to 108 degrees, irreversible organ damage can occur. It can even cause death.

⚠️ Know how to recognize the signs of heat stroke in your dog:
- Excessive panting
- Excessive thirst
- Glazed eyes
- Hyperventilation
- Increased salivation
- Dry gums that are pale or grayish
- Bright or dark red tongue or gums
- Rapid or erratic pulse
- Weakness
- Staggering
- Confusion
- Inattention
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Re**al bleeding
- Collapse
