June x River
A little rest for the remaining five Flow litter pups, after their lunchtime feed in their crates. So pleased by how well they’re going in the crates and all the great feedback of the pups that have left home confirms this! As breeders we constantly try and improve our programs to make the transition to the puppies new homes as smooth as possible. Instead of trying to create a routine and putting the pups in the crate every night at the same time no matter what, I have kept crate times short and pleasant at first and extended the period gradually. The crate almost seems to be a safe heaven and quiet time for them now and I am pleased to hear that the babies often choose to return to their crates by themselves, when they need a minute or two.

So impressed by the babies yesterday morning for taking this new environment on like nothing. I took them to the nearby shearing shed where they had to climb a very uneven ramp to then follow me into the actual shed which was dark and also has grating as flooring. Most of them didn’t even blink!

And a bit of a trickier one 😝

Clever babies, they’re just fearless 🥹
J1 Litter
They’re mostly asleep but they’re awake when they’re awake 🤣 in the last few days the babies have made a significant jump from crawling around in the box with closed eyes to all of a sudden being able to half see and also move on four legs. The other day I already saw one puppy stealing some food from mum! They really are starting to look like little dogs now 🥹
ENS and ESI
Day 11 - Last video for the day I promise ! 🤣 I thought I show everyone the ENS process we go through with all of those puppers every day. The only thing I didn’t video was the wet towel, I have done this earlier today. Today’s scent introduction was Jasmine Flowers and they all quite liked it. I feel like I can see a little “trying to open eyes soon - blink” in them today so I am expecting some small slits tomorrow or the next day! I will keep you posted - naturally 🤣
