Another collection for Ares today, this time with his fav girl as a teaser. Ava definitely thought she was getting the raw end of the deal and strode straight back to the car not wanting to exit it again for a photo 🤣 Of course Ava is NOT getting bred for a while now but she served as a perfect teaser for the boy, he was very happy to get collected today, finally some release after all the excitement over the wknd 🤣🤣 Boys will be boys I suppose. Last weeks semen report came back as “excellent” so we are very happy to announce that Ares has very healthy swimmers 💚 as always he is going above and beyond with his performance 💚

Ava also had a bath this morning which added to her annoyance, however, she’s always so happy to be in the car and is the best travel buddy ever. Just love my girl 💛💛

Ares and I attended the 13th Golden retriever national in SA this week. Ares as always has showed his socks off and made us proud by placing fourth Junior dog out of a competitive class. Thank you to all those who helped organising and participated in the event. Official photos to come. 🥳💚💚

A chance to reflect on the weekend! We had a wonderful couple of days in Canberra and Crookwell. On Saturday we attended Sprint Dog for the first time. Ares had a blast, gaining 32 points towards his title. Ava unfortunately didn’t qualify this time but I think she’s got the knack of it for next time. We then ventured on to catch up with Venus (Ava’s mum), June and Zoey. It was such a lovely day and I wished that I had more time! It is always so heartwarming to see Venus and June who both have played a pivotal role in not only my breeding program but also in my life. Particularly June is and always was one of my heart dogs and seeing both girls thrive in their homes is beyond beautiful. Thank you! 🙏 On Sunday we did a Scent Workshop that was held amazingly by Amy - we have learnt so much and I am so excited for this new avenue of working with the dogs and exploring a whole new world of dog training and connection.
