First time the sheppi was allowed for a look and the bubs were very interested in mums food this morning. They are starting to walk and be more active, however, they still can’t see or hear even with their eyes open, they’re still super underdeveloped for another few days. At the moment we’re still focusing on different tactile stimulation through various toys and ENS as well as ESI. Not long until I will offer them some food and start barrier challenges as well as introduce them to different sounds (once the ears are functioning)

Ava has been beautiful to watch with this litter. She’s been very protective of her little ones - She is firm and clear with her communication but there is zero aggression. She tolerates Ares near them when he is calm but would never allow him to jump into the box, despite all the tempting toys in there. A great learning experience for little man and very proud of my girl 🥹

We had a big couple of days moving more things but the babies were well looked after and followed their program of course

We’ve got peeps! 🥹
The babies are doing amazing and are super calm so far, Ava is content and calm as well spending lots of time with her babies - very apparent when all nine babies are happily sleeping as well next to mum without suckling!

The babies are only 9 days old today and all of them have nearly tripled their weight!!
(Normally one of the hallmarks is to double their weight at 10 days).

Another sign that Ava is doing an immaculate job keeping up to 9 little souls.
They’re getting used to the ENS as well and starting to be calm when handled. They all wanted to eat today’s smell: cinnamon.

The bubbas passed out after a big feed at the milk bar and some ENS and nail clipping. Today’s smell was licorice roots and they always love that one.
