Hello April 😍
I’ve got the pleasure of housing April for a month. So of course I got her on the table straight away. I love her beautiful coat and structure. She’s a lot thicker than June and has got more pigment. Although they look slightly different, they have the exact same character. it’s hilarious! A few photos of June at the end too because she’s beautiful 🤩

A bit delayed but very proud of my Juni bear, who won against another female puppy GR at the Gunning show as well as won against the pick male puppy GR. Very happy how she is coming along with an unbeatable temperament.

**Dalsgold update**
We have moved and downsized our dogs!
Saturn, April and Skyla all have found loving homes for now with potential for further breeding for April and Saturn (last litter was too good!!)
Venus and June remaining at home, still enjoying the farm life and currently (even better) at the beach.
I love how June is coming along, still beautifully balanced and just a lovely dog that makes us laugh every day.
Safe to say that the girls are having a blast while I am gone 😂😍🥰 I miss them already.

A good indicator of how dirty the girls were today 😱😂
So immensely proud of my baby girl June today who made third place at the 11th national Golden retriever show in baby puppy class against 13 other puppies. Especially after we thought we were only starting tomorrow and had about 30 min to get them (and ourselves) ready after a big mud bath this morning. Unfortunately Skyla was still wet and dirty and could not be shown but is having a go on Wednesday. April and June will have another go tomorrow 😍.

Leaving us with S Mint, Pink and Green as well as V Orange for a little bit longer. We also are having a visit by Alaska’s daughter Skyla!
Alaska has been officially retired and lives with a lovely family in Canberra.

What a huge few days assessing all the puppies! I hope I’ve got them all below (I had to go through them twice 😂)
Big day on the road today. The babes has their vet check and my vet was very happy, everyone is healthy and in great condition. No heart murmurs etc. They had a play out in the paddock and then went to get microchipped with my friend in the afternoon. Unfortunately we have run out of time for individual photos so hopefully we will get some on Friday. Nevertheless, there are plenty of group photos with puppies at their cutest. We have finished off the day with a big feed and a bone 🦴.
Big day individual clicker training today with all the puppies and now they are exhausted! Everyone was fantastic to clip their nails - extremely calm and no wriggles. Saturns Blue is def the most full on but will do anything for food. V Blue, Brown and S Purple were a little bit shy and maybe not so food orientated compared to the rest. S Lime was the happiest along with S Pink, Yellow and V Orange. All in all very happy with how they have done! More individual training to be continued over the next few days 🥰

SEVEN. WEEKS. OLD!! Already. This bunch is so cheeky and adorable and calm and I love them all.
Some individual photos of the puppies. Venus’ puppies look so different to Saturns puppies! All V puppies have a V in their individual photos.
They’ve got lots of colour in them except the two purple girls (although V purple has still some) and Grey and Lime. Pink is also on the lighter end. Venus puppies are definitely still on the quiet end and Saturns are a bit more cheeky. They all have a nice calm character though except maybe Rose who gets into lots of mischief but is being a good girl when all attention is on her. (A typical Saturn trait.) All babes are around the 5kg mark with the two purple girls and orange girl being the smallest.
Sorry for the sporadic updates - COVID got us in the end!! Luckily I’ve got a girl help me with the puppies who has already recently had it. I’ve managed to snap a few shots however 🥰
Lots of visitors over the weekend and on Monday. I managed to take some photos on Monday out in the playpen. Both litters together, they’re having a great time!
We are 4 weeks old today! Saturn - Ollie. Couldn’t be happier with this litter they are little champions.
We all had a bath today and got to try the ball playpen. They are all confident pups and adjust well to different environments. All of them are calm to clip their nails. Some babes were DNA tested.

Saturn kiddies have moved into a bigger area! They also had their first meal today, although I have been noticing them trying mums biscuits as well as of today. They dug right in 😋
The babies had their first go at goats milk and biscuits today. Venus kids being two days younger weren’t that impressed and very civilised.
Three weeks have gone by so quickly - the puppies are keeping me on my feet. They are so adorable!! These photos are from the past week but a few changes have been made since then.

Individual photos, while deworming today. I am in LOVE with those two litters 😍 They have grown so quickly, Saturns blue boy weighing 1.8kg already 🥹 I don’t know how she is keeping up with this many puppies, she’s a wonder mumma 🥰. We’re all walking now and all eyes 👀 are open! These puppies are proper puppies now and the cutest. Some of the S litter have started hearing👂as well, which is early! I feel like they’re already four weeks old. 🤷🏻♀️
How these babies have grown! S puppy Rose is leading the way with full eyes open, her litter mates not far behind. Those puppies already have plenty of character behind them!
Venus puppies (solid colours) are smashing through their ENS and nail clippings being unbelievably calm. They are a little impartial about the scents though.
What an eventful few days! I can believe Saturns babies are already one week old today and Venus’ are 5 days. They all of course have started early neurological stimulation (ENS). They have also been introduced to a different smell each day. The scent package I purchased from my lovely friend Paige from Phoelorgold retrievers. (I don’t know why I can’t tag) It is fascinating to watch their little reactions to them! Interestingly, none of the S litter particularly liked the calendula flower, whereas all of them (expect pink girl, who dislikes every smell) were loving the liquorice root yesterday. Blue boy even tried to eat it.
The Venus litter is without a doubt extremely content and quiet. I have never had an easier litter with ENS, they are just very relaxed.

Congratulations to Venus, who pushed out 7 beautiful puppies on Wednesday night! Without doubt she’s being a great mumma needing little assistance giving birth.
