🚨 Urgent Help Needed for Our Friends at Robbins Rescue Ranch 🚨

Our incredible rescue partner, Mel at Robbins Rescue Ranch, has taken in an overwhelming number of emergency cases lately — including two that are critical. She’s doing everything she can to save these lives, but the costs of care are adding up fast, and she could really use our support right now. 💔

🐾 Maxwell & Maya — tiny siblings found huddled together on a park bench, their bellies painfully swollen and their bodies weak from neglect. It’s a miracle they were found in time, but their recovery will take time, care, and resources.

💛 Jubilee’s Foster Wishlist 💛

If you’ve followed our page for a while, you’ve probably seen some of the incredible dogs we’ve shared as courtesy posts for our friend and rescue partner, Jubilee. We’ve had the honor of working alongside her over the past few months, and to say she’s one of a kind would be an understatement.

Jubilee is a certified professional dog trainer and 2025 graduate of Starmark Academy, who has dedicated her life to helping dogs—especially the underdogs. During her time at Starmark, she worked with numerous Bastrop County Animal Shelter (BCAS) pups, several of whom she even adopted herself to keep them from returning to the shelter. 💛

Now living in Montana, Jubilee continues to care for and train multiple dogs completely on her own — no rescue backing, no funding, just heart. She provides everything they need out of her own pocket, from food to vet care to enrichment.

We’d love to give back to someone who gives so much of herself to others. 🐾

October is National Pit Bull Awareness Month! 🐾
At Paws In Your Hands Rescue, we’re proud to stand behind one of the most misunderstood—and most loving—breeds in the world. 💙

Pit Bulls (and bully breeds in general) have long been unfairly judged based on myths rather than facts. The truth? These dogs are affectionate, intelligent, loyal, and goofy companions who just want to be loved like any other pup.

Let’s take a moment to celebrate everything that makes them amazing and help spread awareness to break the stigma! 💪🐶

Here are a few fun facts and reminders:

1️⃣ “Pit Bull” isn’t a single breed—it’s a term that describes several breeds like the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

2️⃣ Pit Bulls were once known as “Nanny Dogs” for their gentle and protective nature with children.

3️⃣ Studies show Pit Bulls consistently score as highly—or higher—on temperament tests than many popular family breeds.

4️⃣ Like all dogs, behavior is shaped by environment, training, and love—not by breed.

5️⃣ Every Pit Bull you meet has a story. Give them a chance, and they’ll write the happiest ending you can imagine. ❤️

✨ Today is a day worth celebrating! ✨
Molly and Murphy (formerly Dhaka) are officially heading off to their forever homes! 💕

For Murphy, this is just the beginning of a brand-new life. For Molly, who spent 7 years with another family before being left behind, this moment feels extra special—we know her next chapter will be her happiest yet. 🐾

A huge thank-you to Wanda and Anahi for fostering, and to Wendy and Sarah for always being such incredible help. None of this would be possible without all of you. Here’s to happy tails and new beginnings! 🐶❤️

🌟🐾 Meet Powder! (formerly Free Willie) 🐾🌟

If you’ve been waiting for the total package in a furry best friend, your wait may be over—because Powder has it all! This 1.5-year-old, 60 lb sweetheart is goofy, affectionate, social, and smart as can be. While we can’t confirm his exact breed without a DNA test, he appears to be a bully mix—but don’t let labels fool you. Powder is pure love wrapped up in a wiggly, snuggly body. 💕

✨His Story
Powder’s journey began as a stray in Texas earlier this year. He was lucky enough to earn a spot in a 12-week training program at Starmark Academy, where he absolutely shined. He learned an impressive list of skills—sit, down, place, come, paw, spin, turn, touch, retrieve, heel, and even agility tricks like tunnels, jumps, and hoops! After graduation, he was at risk of returning to an overcrowded shelter, but one of his trainers saved the day by fostering him. Thanks to that kindness, Powder continued to thrive and is now living with his foster in Bozeman, Montana, patiently waiting for his forever family.

✨His Personality
Powder is the best of both worlds—playful and silly when it’s time for fun, gentle and cuddly when it’s time to relax. He loves toys (especially sturdy ones for strong chewers), enjoys river adventures, and melts into couch cuddles at night. He’s polite, never jumps on people, and shows off wonderful leash and door manners.

With other dogs, Powder is a respectful and happy playmate, and he’s met both preteens and younger kids with a wagging tail and a gentle spirit. He hasn’t met cats yet, but his curious, kind-hearted personality makes us hopeful he’d adjust with the right introductions.

✨ The Ideal Home
Powder would love a yard to run and play in, and another dog buddy would be a big bonus! But he could also thrive in an apartment or condo as long as his family is active and committed to exercise and enrichment. Above all, he’s looking for people who will appreciate both his affectionate side and his well-rounded training.

✨ Health
Powder is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on monthly preventatives. He’s healthy, happy, and SO ready to meet his forever family.

Powder is currently located near Bozeman, MT, and can be adopted locally. But don’t worry if you’re not nearby—he is also available for out-of-state adoption with transport included in the adoption fee.

It’s official — Dhaka has found his forever family! 🐾💙 This handsome boy won’t have to spend another day growing up in a shelter. In just a few weeks, he’ll be heading off to join his amazing new parents, Mary & Violet, and his new fur siblings. 🐶🐾

We already know Dhaka is going to thrive and blossom in their loving home, and we couldn’t be happier for him! 🥰

✨🐾 Foster Magic at Work 🐾✨

Molly has only been out of the shelter for less than a week—and just look at the difference! While she loved all the attention from the incredible staff and volunteers at the shelter, nothing compares to the comfort of a real home. 💕 This sweet girl is already acting like a playful young pup again, soaking up love, and thriving in her foster environment.

This is exactly what fostering can do in such a short amount of time. 🏡❤️ If you’ve ever thought about fostering, take this as your sign—it truly saves lives and transforms them in ways a shelter simply can’t.

A huge thank you to Anahi for opening your home and heart to Molly, and to Wendy for making sure this gem of a girl didn’t go unnoticed. Because of you both, Molly is one step closer to her happily ever after.

🌟🐾 Adoption Announcement 🐾🌟

It’s official—our gorgeous girl Hannah has been adopted! 💕 At just 7 months old, this sweet girl has already endured more hardship than most dogs will in a lifetime… and now, she finally gets her fairytale ending. ✨

This adoption wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing partners at Robbins Rescue Ranch. Mel, who is nothing short of a miracle worker, saved Hannah and her sisters after they were found dumped in a remote area, struggling just to survive. These poor babies were skin and bones, fighting mange, fleas, parasites, ear infections, severe anemia, and malnutrition. It’s hard to even imagine the condition they were in—but thanks to Mel’s unwavering love and care, Hannah transformed into the bright, beautiful, thriving pup she is today. 💖

We are beyond grateful to Robbins Rescue Ranch for everything they’ve done for Hannah (and countless others). Because of them, she’s now ready to embark on her next chapter. 🏡

Hannah will soon be making the journey to her forever home, and we cannot wait to see her flourish with her new family. Congratulations to Tessa—we just know you’re going to fall head over heels for this special girl! 🥳🐶💞

It’s official—our breathtakingly beautiful girl Suzie has been adopted! 💕 We honestly can’t wrap our heads around how it took this long for her forever family to find her, but as the saying goes: good things come to those who wait. And this match was truly meant to be.

This adoption was extra special because of the incredible teamwork with our friends at Robbins Rescue Ranch. Suzie’s journey started in heartbreak—dumped, starved, and left to fend for herself. But thanks to Mel, who swooped in and showed her unconditional love, Suzie finally learned what it means to be safe, cared for, and adored. 🌸

Now, Suzie is ready to begin her next chapter with her forever family. 💌 We are over the moon for her and cannot wait to see her flourish in the life she has always deserved.

A huge congratulations to Elizabeth—we know Suzie will bring endless love and joy into your life. 🥂🐶 Here’s to new beginnings!
