I cannot say this enough please microchip your pets. It is so important especially in this day and age that all pets have a chip and all information is current. Many states are passing laws that if an owner cannot provide hard proof of ownership that animal will not be handed over. Not to mention many pets never get back home because there is no way to get ownership information. It's so simple Amazon sells them and you can do it yourself if you don't want to pay the vet price. There are websites to provide all the information so that your baby can return home safely and quickly.

The abandoned buildings where all the stray cats lived are completely gone, it is such a sad sight, we did not see any of the cats and there is no access as the whole area has been barricaded.
We could not leave any food or water but we doubt that any of the cats remained in the area. We tried so hard to rescue them, we reached out to so many agencies and people, sadly, nobody cared, nobody helped them, apparently our government agencies and certain people think that animals have no sense of sorrow nor feel pain, hunger, any emotion and the struggles they go through are not their problem. Thankfully we were able to rescue a few a while ago, some were spayed/neutered and played in good homes, the rest are still with us, waiting for their second chance to a new life, a safe life. This is a very emotional night for us, seeing my wife's tears and my son's eyes was not easy at all. We are so sorry, we tried our very best, we wish we could have done more.

To all of those who could have done something but chose to turn a blind eye, and those who contribute to this most odious misfortune... SHAME ON YOU!

Well people, here we go again.
No tag, no microchip, not neutered, running amok by the road completely lost. Anthony did a remarkable job, sat in the wet grass until he could earn his trust, it took a while but he is safe now.
He does not belong to anybody from our neighborhood, he could have escaped and walked a long distance, or very well was just dumped by the road. We will make the proper calls to see if an owner claims him, if not, he will be available to a good home, neutered and up to date, of course.
Anthony has named him "Mango" Don't worry, he is in a separate area, not with any of our dogs.
I wish that people were more careful, compassionate and responsible, sadly, the reality of our world is far from those things. We are still waiting for a response from all the places we have contacted regarding the abandoned cats situation, this is just unbelievable.
