Last Announcement for today! I have a small batch of regular Beaste Pods ready for Posting.
These are £25 each with £7 postage. Postage for 2 pods bought together is £10 :)

Colours available are:
Pink Marble x1
Original Black x1
Matt Silver x1
Green Marble x1
Grey Marble x1

The soonest I can post these is Tuesday due to Bank Holiday. If I post Tuesday they should reach you by Wednesday/Thursday but I can't 100% Garuntee that as our postal system isn't great....

2 new Pod sizes are now available 😆😆

Shown here with our regular Beastie Pod are:

The Mini Beastie Pod for those of you who nagged me for teeny pods suitable for the rediculously small babys you all ended up with! Coming in at only 10cm (Approx) Diameter with extra fine mesh ventilation- nothing is getting in or out of this baby no matter how small! These will be £15 each with £7 postage. Currently these only come with white ventilation rings but I may expand on colour in future.

The Giant Pod for those of you keeping larger species of jumpers or those who just want a little more space 😉 this beautiful thing is 23cm (approx) Diameter and made with our usual high grade super fine ventilation mesh.
These will be £35 each with £7 postage.

So after getting in contact with Bayo's Bug Balls yesterday we have confirmed that they have not copied our designs as some of you reported and they are in fact doing a brilliant job of thier own spherical designs. So if you need a different size or something that opens more fully than just a door, Please go and check them out. Genuinely nice people doing a good job 😊 Peace out ✌

Sadly after multiple harassments from several different people, We feel the need to clarify the following:

Beastie Pods UK only make and sell Pods.

We do not hand out designs
We do not sell parts
We do not offer out supplier information

What we do is off our own backs, from our own hard work and research. Weeks of trial and error, waisted time and money to get to the product we sell today.

We started Beastie Pods UK because people saw our work on Hobby pages and appreciated it enough to request to buy it. 👌

If you would like a Pod and to be part of the Podding community then please message the page. 😊

If you do not want a pod - Please quietly move on. 👍

I'm completely in love with the green despite previously hating it! The Grey marble is very stylish and the Gold has been requested by multiple customers so I thought I would give it a go 😊

Important Update inc. Price Changes!

Good Afternoon! Sorry we have been a bit quiet. We have been having technical difficulties using fb. We are now using a separate app to access the page thanks to a family friend 😊👍

So there are lots of messages in the inbox asking when the next batch of pods will be ready - Good news! I'm hoping to have at least 10 pods ready by Saturday evening.

They will be a mixture of colours including the original black, pink, yellow, blue and matt silver 🖤💗💛💙🤍

Also due to yet another change in suppliers, Pods will now be priced at £25 each and will come with a foam stand and selection of different size fuax monstera leaf stand covers.

We're sorry if this prices anyone out but at the moment we are no longer covering materials cost let alone the time and effort required to make them.

Postage for a single pod is £7,
Postage for 2 pods is currently £10

We are trying really hard to make this cheaper by using high quality lightweight packaging (yet another cost not currently covered 🙄)

Beastie Pod Progression: So Beastie Pods have come a long way in thier short lifetime. Originally starting out as a large round sweet tub and a plastic can lid from a lethal smelling wood filler (thoroughly cleaned I can assure you!) with some old curtain rings and shreds of cotton bug screen, the original prototype seen here in the first photo was scrambled together in a few hours in a panic because I had 4 spiders on order arriving that day and the tubs I ordered arrived damaged.
Rather impressed by my own resourcefulness I sat and admired my handiwork... immediately my brain was firing on all cylinders! What if I do this? What if I try that? Would this work? How can I make it clearer and shinier?

And so promptly began the search for better materials. No less than a week later prototype number 2 appeared on the floor of my by now drastically messy workshop... but I still wasn't happy...

Its taken a few weeks of more prototypes, more experiments with hinges, grommets, buckles, buttons turn buckles and bug screen but finally I'm happy with the "Regular Beastie Pods"

Now to start on "Colour Editions" and "Special Editions" 😁😁

Here we are! Tonight's Surprise!

I was pleasantly caught off guard 2 nights ago by my male P.Regious who disappeared 3 weeks ago into a "moulting cocoon" then a few days ago he turned up looking very small and skinny and not like he moulted so I got worried but then lo and behold 2 days ago these beauty's appeared!

Suffice to say MUM has now been very well fed and is happy tending to a new egg sack she's built in a second chamber of her "Nursery Hammock"

So I will be rearing these on and will be selling some in the summer.

I am not and do not plan to become a breeder but due to a happy accident I will be rearing a brood or 2 😊😁😍🕷
