We're getting down to business! We know how incredibly important your time is, and by the time you've signed your dog up for training, you've likely all tried "all the things."

We are welcoming 2025 with NO ASSESSMENT FEES!

This doesn't mean we're not doing an assessment and making a training plan that's best for you and your dog.

We are just making our first impression even more memorable!

At your first visit, not only will our balanced trainers hear your needs, but we are going to leave you with tools to jump right in!

Puppy Lessons $70/hour
Adult dog lessons $80/hour

The art of doing nothing, passive existence, "place", "stay", long stays, "being good" - no matter what we call it, it's truly a skill that can change the way your dog thinks.

It's a skill that requires the right tools to enforce it, leadership, and a few basic obedience skills.

It's the difference between being able to take your dog anywhere and fighting/struggling the whole time to counterbalance your dog being stimulated by everything.

Learning to just exist in busy and unpredictable environments for extended amounts of time develops confidence, coping skills, focus, and mental fortitude.

We start with a strong sit and down and build on the duration of those and then add all sorts of distraction, noise, and surfaces.

Our friend Charlie was born to show.... he's got the looks, he's got the structure but he didn't have the confidence. Everytime he'd show, he'd be so nervous about the crowd and getting up on his table for the judge.

With a little help from Adam and the dopamine box, this boy was a Rockstar and totally crushed his last show. Did we say champion?! 🥰

So what's with the box?!

It's called a dopamine box, and it's an absolute game changer!

The objective is to create an understanding for the dog that pressure creates reward and that they can withstand any pressure they experience. We can use the dopamine box for things like:

Confidence Building

Noise Sensitivity

Separation Anxiety

Scent Work

Tracking

Article Indication

Resource Guarding

Teaching Commitment to Behavior

Teaching Concentration

Socialization

Reactivity

Aggression

Creating Mental Toughness

There are several benefits of the box including teaching the dog commitment to a behavior, building confidence with environmental stressors, exposing dogs to triggers (eliminates visual stimulation, allowing the dog to have more reps before they get over stimulated), builds tracking and scent work behaviors, can change the emotional state for resource guarding - instead of taking away we are giving!

📣 shout out the people who respect the boundaries we set for our dogs. You make things a little easier.

Not every dog wants to meet and greet, and some dogs that's all they want to do! But remember, every dog owner has their own goals, and some are working on impulse control, not jumping, polite greeting, neutral behavior and so much more.

Some of the nicest dogs still have boundaries set for many reasons.

As an owner it's okay to say no thank you, and its okay to have hard boundaries AND STICK TO THEM for whatever the reason.
