Mint, glorious mint! Well actually, its a prolific pest. If you don't have mint, keep it in a pot, it's sooooo invasive. However, if you're like me and it's planted near your grass then rejoice, because every time you mow your lawn it smells amazing!

Random side note - my chickens will soon be ranging in the mobile run! Very happy the weather seems to finally be turning for the better...and I have grass that needs pooping on lol.

Lemon Mint is starting to sprout. Soon the plant will be about 5 feet high and I'll be harvesting for forage. It smells absolutely amazing!

The Watercress is growing fast! You can buy it dried from us, but I would suggest to buy live. It only needs a little running water (maybe a small pot with a solar fountain) and it thrives. It's also edible for humans, although it has a strong pepper taste. I'm not a huge fan but my chickens go nuts for it 😂

It's washed thoroughly and posted with express delivery to ensure it's as fresh as when it left my pond.

I'm still really unsure about forage. It doesn't sell as much as I'd like and I'm not sure whether to get rid of it entirely.

I know people tend to buy in bulk but I was hoping the home grown, whole leaf product would do well.

Because it is home grown I can't sell 5kg dried at a time. Do I lower the price? Do I withdraw it? Any suggestions are welcome because it's a part of FN I really love and I don't want to give it up.

So, as I was saying about better late than never, these will be available on the website shortly. Made from felt and topped with a lush white furry top, they make a great place to keep your furry Christmas presents! Not for hanging in the cage (although maybe I could make some edible stockings at some point?).

It's been chilly at FNHQ! Not much growing at the moment but it will soon be spring and boy do I have plans to spring into action! Although a bit delayed, it is a brand new year with lots more holiday seasons....

Apologies all for the long absence. After losing my dad late last year I have been quite ill and have had quite a bit on my plate so FN has been on a bit of a back burner.

However, I am pleased to advise I'm finally getting over my health issues and am getting back into the driving seat! More on that in following posts.

This post I'd like to dedicate to Poppy, my dad's little 10yo Jack S***t I've been hosting in Derbyshire while mum sorts all the estate and house out in Essex. She goes home on Thursday and my mum is so excited to have her back, though I will miss her greatly.

So phase two is here and hammocks now have eyelets. What are your thoughts?

I'm thinking a small, medium and large at £5, £8 and £10.

Does anyone have sizes they find silly expensive or hard to find that I could add with standard sizing?

I'm going to add a custom size option but I'd rather go for standard if possible.
