Lemon mint is VERY smelly to pick but also has a lot of health benefits.

Mint, including peppermint and spearmint, contains a wide variety of vitamins and nutrients. It helps to reduce inflammation, making it good for helping rabbits with symptoms of arthritis. It can also help with digestive disorders, reducing fever, preventing infections, and treating urinary tract infections.

Oregano smelling the house up in a wonderful way!

Oregano has properties that act as an immune boost for rabbits. It contains geraniol and rosmarinic acid that work to protect against tumors and carcinogens. They are also anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial, helping rabbits to protect against infections. Oregano can also be used to reduce the likelihood of becoming reinfected or getting a secondary bacterial infection during a recovery period.

Lovage in Dennis the dehydrator today, after I pinched a bit for my own salad! A member of the celery family, it has a bit more of a peppery bite.

Lovage is a favorite among rabbits and has diuretic and digestion-promoting properties.

I've been harvesting dandelion this morning and Dennis is having a good chew.

Dandelion is a good source of fibre and antioxidants, and it can help to promote a healthy digestive system. It also promotes good respiratory health. Rich in vitamin C, beta-carotene and calcium, it is a diuretic and purgative food to be reserved for rodents that do not suffer from kidney issues or an accelerated digestive system.

Mint, glorious mint! Well actually, its a prolific pest. If you don't have mint, keep it in a pot, it's sooooo invasive. However, if you're like me and it's planted near your grass then rejoice, because every time you mow your lawn it smells amazing!
