Pawsitive Dog Training Positive Dog Training for you and your best friend! I am CPDT-KA Certified, Fear Free Certified, AKC CGC Certified, and a Dog Bite Prevention Educator. Hello!

I am a member of the Pet Professional Guild and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kennedi and I am a dog trainer that works in the community of Fountain Hills, AZ, and the surrounding areas. I am CPDT-KA Certified, a Fear Free Certified Professional, an AKC CGC Certified Evaluator, a Certified Bite Prevention Educator, and a Be A Tree Presenter

through Doggone Safe. I am very passionate about my work and care deeply for animals, large or small, especially dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. I have four dogs, Beau, Bailie, Jack, and Annie. I also have a wonderful cat named Oliver. I grew up in South Dakota and Alaska, and have been surrounded by a variety of animals, wild and domestic. I have a deep appreciation for living things and believe in respecting and caring for them. I have had a host of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, turtles, and bucket calves. I have also had a hand in rescuing dogs, cats, baby birds, and raccoons. I received my Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology in 2016. I have been a Senior Dog Trainer and Mentor for Petco for 3 years and have a vast amount of experience working with dogs of all sizes and breeds. Ring in the New Year with a fun and exciting obedience class for you and your dog or puppy! Starting Monday, January 13, I will be hosting an AKC CGC Group Class, AKC STAR Puppy Group Class, and an Adult Beginner Class (full). Each class is an hour long and lasts 6 weeks. Each class entry is $160 (that's a little over $26 for each session!) Spots are starting to fill up! The Adult Beginner Class is now full, but the AKC STAR Puppy has 2 spots left and the AKC CGC classes have 3 spots left.

The AKC CGC Class (3 spots left!) is for dogs 1 year and older. This is a 6-week program that is geared toward preparing your dog for the 10 items on the CGC test. Requirements include previous experience in a basic obedience course.

The AKC STAR Puppy Class (3 spots available!) is for puppies up to a year old and teaches you and your puppy foundational skills, such as sit, down, and come. This class is geared toward the AKC STAR Puppy Test and includes practice for all 20 test items. This is a 6-week course. In order to participate puppies must be up-to-date and current on vaccinations.

Happy Halloween everyone! The Gang enjoyed a special holiday themed enrichment activity and had dinner inside of a pumpkin! This activity allows the dog to participate in natural behaviors in an appropriate setting! As with any enrichment activity, you should be present to make sure everything is safe!

All animals can benefit greatly from enrichment activities. The chickens are Brookhaven certainly enjoyed "carving" a pumpkin as an enrichment activity!

Jaxy is such a good girl! I love working with her. She has learned so much in our short time together!

I am so very proud of Honey Bear! He has come leaps and bounds since we first met! What a good, good boy!
