Sophie and I took a little road trip today to visit with Gracie and her mom. Gracie was Blossom from the Flower Girls litter. She is 6 months old. We had a great time!

GOOD BOY FILO! 🖤 💛 🥮

We were entered at the UKC Obedience trials this weekend at Sarasota Obedience Training Club. He was entered in Novice B and got 3 qualifying scores to earn his UCD title.

He is such a fun dog that loves to work with me and wags his tail the entire routine.

Sheila also earned her UKC Spot-On title. We’ll get her picture when the certificate comes in the mail.

Filo and I earned our first obedience title this weekend!
We got a 1st and a 2nd place in Beginner Novice at the Dog Obedience Club of Lee County, FL. It was a great trial and congrats to all our friends and classmates that also did well.

ITP or Immune-Mediated Thrombocytopenia is a serious blood disease that can affect any dog, but some breeds (including cocker spaniels) are thought to have a genetic predisposition.

Symptoms include abnormal bruising and/or bleeding, as well as general illness.

This is a lengthy, but easy to read article that I would like to share with all my cocker friends.

Immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (ITP) in dogs is a common blood disease. In this article, Dr. Barri Morrison explains the causes, symptoms, and treatment for ITP in dogs.

Petal is looking for the perfect home! She was our pick from the Sophie and George litter. She is beautiful, very sweet, likes to cuddle and carry toys. She can be a little cautious in new situations but is very handler-focused. Send me a message if you have any questions, or fill out an application on our Good Dog page if you'd like to be considered for her new home. Petal's teeth are undershot. This has no bearing on her health, but does exclude her from being a show and breeding prospect.
