Malin is officially after a year and a half a house cat and I can now pat her properly!!!
It has been some serious hard work getting her from being in a crate for months (she was so aggressive and it would completely stress her out being able to free roam and many wounds to my hands after her attacking me she is today a full fledged house cat 🐈⬛
It’s so great to see how far they have come. They look really fat and happy here however once they finished two rounds of worming it really showed just how thin they were….their tummies were filled with worms 🪱
In memory of Poppy 😭🫶
A few months back we rescued 16 kittens from one persons house along with a few others who were left outside their neighbours house to fend for themselves.
One was Poppy and after noticing her running around and not using her back legs properly we took her to the vet to find out she had spina bifada but given she was eating, drinking, running around like normal she was given the all clear so apart from having to help her poop and pee and struggling to find tiny kitten nappies she was doing amazing and found a loving home however sadly just two weeks of being showered with love from her new family she was rushed to the vet and sadly passed away, we believe her spina Bifada was causing inside issues we just couldnt see.
She was such a beautiful wee kitten who I thankfully have loads of videos of her running and playing the best she could and just enjoying life, im glad we were able to get her off the cold streets into a home so she could at the very least experience love.
