فريدة بسينة شارع وفي صبية كانت عم تفوتها على بيتها وتهتم فيها مؤخرا، كانت حبلى وخلّفت عندها بالبيت وما كانت قدرتها تخصيها.

"اللي صار معها انو هيي صارت حبلانة كتير و ما بقدر امنعها تنزل عالجنينة عم تصير تهرب عن البلكون هيي مش معودة تنزرب بالبيت، آخر مرة ضلت عم تطلق ساعة و شوي و تعذبت كتير و بس خلفت و خلصت صارت ترجف و قلبوا عيونها ل ورا. و هالمرة ما لحقت اخصيها دغري حبلت واذا خلفت في احتمال تموت او تتاثر كتير. هيي ربيانة عند جيرانا بالجنينة بس تخلوا عنها و كانوا يضربوها و ما بيطعموها منيح كرمال هيك فوتتها ع بيتي بس بعدها بتنزل بتلعب تحت فا بتحبل بلا ما انتبه."

Barbour (1 year old) took his vaccine today, he’s dewormed and deflead. He got neutered and is ready for adoption in a couple of days.
He’s super friendly and loves to cuddle.

This cat was recently dumped in the streets.
He’s been approaching someone at his work and he tried taking care of him as much as possible, but today someone beat him up and left him in this condition in the last two photos.
We need an urgent foster home/adopter for this sweet little angel. He’s super friendly and gets a long with other cats.

Bella was adopted around 2 months ago, but unfortunately the adopter can no longer keep her since she’s not getting along with the other cat.
She needs a new home asap. If anyone’s interested In adopting her or at least can foster her until we find her a new home it would be appreciated. Preferably a home with no other cats.

Look at beautiful Chloé living her life just like any 4 legged dog.

We’re still trying to find her a forever home, but sadly it looks like no one is willing to adopt a 3 legged dog here in Lebanon. With the help of some amazing people I will be working on finding her a forever home abroad. For her to travel we’re gonna need to spay/vaccinate/microchip her. In addition to getting her a crate and her travel ticket. Cannot assure yet the specific amount needed but it’s gonna be up to $800.

We know the amount is a bit too much, but hopefully we’ll be able to collect it and give Chloé a second chance at life. Otherwise she’s gonna have to spend the rest of her life in a shelter. Which is something we don’t want for our playful loving girl.

I will keep on posting about Chloé in hope of finding someone who’s willing to give her all the love that she deserves. Someone that doesn’t look at her as if she’s anything less than a 4 legged dog. She’s very smart and the sweetest ever. SUPER FRIENDLY AND LOVES CUDDLES.
Her fosterer lives in a very small house and it’s been very hard on him lately. It’s been a couple of month and he’s treating her as his own but cannot keep her anymore since he’s got a project to work on and he has to move a lot. I don’t wanna put her in a shelter or a cage, she deserves all the love and cuddles in the world.
PLEASE PLEASE help us find her a home. She’s 1 year and a couple of months old, she’s potty trained, and calm…if you cannot give this little one a home a share would be appreciated 🙏🏻

We rescued Barbour a couple of months ago. He was hit by a car and unable to move and turned out to have a broken leg and a previous damage in his spinal cord that has healed incorrectly but luckily didn’t have an affect on him. We had to undergo a surgery for his broken leg and a kind girl fostered him for a while. She helped him by massaging his legs and finally he was able to walk again.
Unfortunately through this time I was not able to find him a forever home, and the Fosterer had to return him back. He’s SUPER cuddly and lovesss attention. He deserves a loving home to take him in..it breaks my heart how people rush to adopt when I post a cat of a certain breed or color but when I post about him not even 1 person contacts me.
I’m already taking care of several cats and it would be so much better for him to find a home that’s willing to give him all the attention that he needs. My cats didn’t get along with him and sadly I had to keep him in a room on his own which is depressing for a cat that loves to play and be around humans. If you gave him a chance you would really FALL for him.

ps: I will coverup neutering and vaccination bills

This mama cat was rescued from the streets around 2 months ago to give birth in a safe space. All her babies got adopted after they were completely weaned. Now we’re looking for a loving home to take the mama in.

Woof woof kind souls!
I’m Chloé a three-legged doggo filled with so much love to give and always ready for a belly rub. My guardians threw me on the streets for not being good enough for them, lucky for me Save Our Strays found me and didn’t give up on me like my guardians did 🥺
I lovee car rides, running and playing.
My disability doesn’t stop me from being just like any dog with 4 legs and even more energetic.
I’m very affectionate and cuddly.
My best feature? Having three legs gets me noticed, but it’s my eyes that attract people to me. They have such expression. When I look at someone, you can’t help but look back. And when our eyes meet? All you will see is unconditional lovee 🥰
Save Our Strays said I’m a special dog who deserves a special person who’s willing to take good care of me, I don’t deserve being dumped again, do I? 🥺 I’ve lost my leg due to neglect, but overcame the challenges of recovering to be one of the most amazing dog you'll ever meet.
I’m dewormed and deflead. If you decide to take me in Save Our Strays will spay me..they said it’s for the best and will give me a healthier life.

As we all know Lebanon is facing the issue of OVERPOPULATION of strays.

Most pet shelters across our country are trying their best BUT they can only do as much. We have to help ease their burden and especially ease these strays lives but we believe that with YOUR HELP, we can hopefully achieve this mission!

Put in mind that as much as we try to feed the strays and as much as we try to save them, it’s not enough if we don’t tackle the main issue. The number is increasing each day and each day we’re gonna have to feed and save more souls.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO COMBAT PET OVERPOPULATION:

•If you are adding a pet to your family, make sure the pet comes from a legitimate shelter, or a nonprofit rescue group.

•Always spay and neuter your pets.

•Consider all the responsibilities and consequences of pet ownership before deciding to get a pet and always make a lifetime commitment to your pet.

•Educate your children, friends, family members and co-workers about pet overpopulation, adoption and the importance of spaying and neutering.

•Spay and Neuter stray cats and dogs if possible.

You can help stop generations of suffering. Have your female pet spayed and your male pet neutered. Don’t allow them to breed and add to the pet overpopulation problem.

To all of you kind-hearted dedicated community feeders, who are feeding the strays daily at certain locations:

I’m starting a new project concerning the welfare of stray animals. It sheds light mainly on keeping them well-fed, hydrated and nourished. Skipping from one place to another and always following the trail of pet tails is a fundamental form of blessing for me, yet I can't deny that it gets exhausting at times. To overcome this little obstacle, 've decided to plant feeding stations at different parts in Beirut and its suburbs (as a start). This method is extremely helpful for both the animals and us, as it 1-Lessens the risk of contamination and the attraction of unwanted littering

2-People say the strays are aggressive and dangerous. Well, I believe that they are aggressive only because they are hungry and frightened However, to establish this, I would definitely need yourgenerous help, which you have been offering ceaselesslyall along.

Financial support is in dire need, given that these feeding stations are costly. Donations in form of food are also extremely appreciated. Another important asset for this project is volunteers who are willing to put their time and effort into taking care of filling the pair of tubes with food and water and disposing of them when needed.

This is an urgent call to everyone interested in keeping our stray, furry friends in good health. At the end of the day, It is the purrs of happiness and satisfaction which are responsible for the alteration of gloomy moods.
