Kuehn's Animal Treat and Kuehn Acres will be at the Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market tomorrow. In the parking lot of Qualheim's True Value (the old Shopko building). From 8am to 2pm.
Kuehn's Animal Treat will be running it's buy 4 packages of Moo Cow Bow Wows Homemade Dog Treats and get a 5th package FREE. While supplies last. They come in Beef, Chicken,and Ham flavors.
Kuehn Acres will have FRESH RHUBARB, Rhubarb Fizz Mix, Rhubarb Jam, Jalapeno Jam, and Pickled Peppers.
For Crafts, there's Handcrafted Leather Purses, Bracelets and Wallets, Walking Sticks, Handcrafted wood wall hangings, Birch Critters, Rock Art, Dog pull toys, Carved Gnomes and Vicking Fiqures,and Handcrafted Wood Kazoos.
Care A Patch will be set up at my stand as well. For a Free Will Donation you receive a Hand Carved Purple One Carrot Necklace as a Thank You gift.

August 28 Care A Patch Update:
Thanks to Sue’s Sourdough the last 2 Saturdays. Care A Patch is now down to only eleven Hand Whittled, Painted and Strung, One Carrot Necklaces.
Now I need your help. Seeing this Saturday, being a big weekend and the last hurray for this summer. I would love to see if I could hand out these last eleven Necklaces as Thank You Gifts for your Free Will Donation. If this goal would be made. I than can fill this check out and present it to Ties That Bind Us that much sooner. Remember 💯 percent of all Donations will be given to Ties That Bind Us. Which is a wonderful local Organization that helps people with cancer and their Caregivers.
I will be set up at the Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market this Saturday. So I will have the Care A Patch Garden Box set up at my stand. Just look for the signs and the remaining eleven One Carrot Necklaces in the Garden Display.
It'll only take a Free Will Donation of any amount you wish to give, to help give out the last of these One Carrot Necklaces. Rain or shine. Unless storming.
Kuehn's Animal Treat will have its popular Homemade Dog Treats Moo Cow Bow Wows. They come in Beef, Chicken, and Ham flavors. I will be running my buy 4 packages and get a 5th package FREE.
Kuehn Acres will have Rhubarb Fizz, Rhubarb Jam, Jalapeno Jam (hot and mild ), and Pickled Peppers. All can goods were canned with produce grown on our farm. So locally grown, as all produce that I may have on my stand. Locally grown on my farm.
For Crafts there's Birchwood Critters, Handcrafted Leather Purses wallets and bracelets, Walking Sticks, Handcrafted wood wall hangings, rock art, dog pull toys, and Hand crafted wood Kazoos.

Whooohooo I got a couple projects going right now. I am making some things. This one is just about done. I ran out of clear spray so I need to get another can.
This is the Giant Check I made for my Care A Patch Fundraiser. I could have ordered one online. However, I could not find what I wanted. The check needed to be the Care A Patch color, purple I wanted a Carrot on the check. I wanted something really nice to show the total donation amount that so many gave to this Fundraiser. Well I did what I have done plenty of times. I made it myself. After a couple more coats of clear spay, dry marker should wipe off. At least it did when I tried it on another similar item. I am keeping my fingers crossed 🤞.
Now I'm asking for your Help. I have 30 ONE CARROT NECKLACES left to hand out as Thank You gifts for a Free Will Donation. So if you haven't taken the time to do so. Please take the time to donate. If you have please help spread the word about Care A Patch. And think about this. If you Donated last year, and you donate this year. You can do what I have done. But both Carrots on one string and make it a two Carrot Necklace. Just like the one I'm wearing in this picture. Or donate a couple times this year like my good friend Pat Hoffman did.

I have whittled, painted,and strung every Care A Patch Necklace myself. I have made all the signage for this fundraiser myself. Now I have made this Giant display check myself. And I have taken all expenses for running this Fundraiser this year and last out of my own pocket. I did all of this because the Care A Patch Fundraiser has become that important to me. You can say it has become part of me.

CARE A PATCH REPORT
Another 10 One Carrot Necklaces got handed out as Thank You gifts. At the Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market today. I would like to Thank everyone who Donated today. It is Truly appreciated.
That leaves 30 Necklaces still to be handed out for 30 more Free Will Donations. So I'm asking for everyone who hasn't been able to donate yet, to please help. By giving a Free Will Donation to Care A Patch. So I can hand out these last 30 One Carrot Necklaces. 💯 percent of all Donations will be going to Ties That Bind Us. They are a local Organization that does a Fabulous job helping those with Cancer and Their Caregivers.
I carved, painted, and strung all 107 One Carrot Necklaces for this Fundraiser myself. Along with making the signs for it as well. I'm currently working on another project for Care A Patch. That I am excited to use, once all 107 One Carrot Necklaces are handed out. All I'll say about that project is, keep posted to see what it is.

After missing 4 weeks of market it sure was nice to be back. I got to see all my market friends, regular Customers, and met some new customers. To top it off my niece Carly, her husband Chris and their twins from Iowa stopped at market to visit us. As well as our daughter Claire from Indiana stop for a visit.

Care A Patch
First I would like to Thank my friend Pat Hoffman for taking care of Care A PATCH the last two Saturdays for me. Today I showed Pat my great appreciation by giving Pat a Care A Patch Gnome. I love carving these Gnomes. So I came up with they idea to use them as an appreciation gift to those who has help Care A Patch. A small token for the help I receive from others. I added a picture of the Care A Patch Gnome.
With the number of Donations of the two Saturdays and today we are down to 40 One Carrot Necklaces left to hand out for Free Will donations. I added a picture also of the remaining Carrots in the Care A Patch Garden.

What's Going on with CARE A PATCH?

I relize that I have been sending mixed signals wether Care A Patch is going to be at the Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market. I am sorry for this. It's just that for the last few weeks we have been dealing with health issues of a family member. Along with health issues of my own. So every time it looks like it's a solid go, health issues of One or the other has popped up at last minute so I can't make it.
This Fundraiser is true and dear to my heart. It's my way to help a Local Organization such as Ties That Bind Us. In turn they help Local people fighting cancer and their Caregivers.
I relize this is a rather small Fundraiser. But it is one that I can be a part of to help others in our community fighting Cancer and their Caregivers. I asure you, I have put alot of time and effort in it. I have whittled every wood Carrot myself. I than drill a hole in each carrot and painted them myself. I string each Carrot, which is the last stage in turning it into a ONE CARROT NECKLACE. Along with the Necklaces, I have made the Carrot Neckless Garden Display box, and all signage.
Any cost to make any of these things I have used my own money. So as you can see I have dedicated my own time and money to Create and run the Care A Patch Fundraiser.
I am always trying to come up with ways to promote, improve, and expand Care A Patch.
So please be patient, and support CARE A PATCH. I will try to keep on schedule as much as I can. I have 57 One Carrot Necklaces left. To hand out as Thank You gifts for your Free Will Donation for this Years Fundraiser. As you can see these One Carrot Necklaces are more than just a piece of wood. They are a symbol of my love and support to those fighting Cancer. When you give a Free Will Donation and receive a One Carrot Necklace it shows your love and support for those fighting cancer. When I turn 💯 percent of all Donations over to Ties That Binds US. It will show the love and support of our community to those fighting cancer and their Caregivers.

Whooohooo. Care A Patch, Kuehn's Animal Treat, and Kuehn Acres will be at the Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market this coming Saturday.
Come support Care A Patch Fundraiser with a Free Will Donation and receive a One Carrot Necklace as a Thank You gift. 💯 percent of all Donations will go to Ties That Bind Us. A Great Local Organization that helps people with cancer and their Caregivers.
Kuehn's Animal Treat will be running it's buy 4 Packages of Moo Cow Bow Wows Homemade Dog Treats and get a 5th package FREE. They come in Beef, Chicken, and Ham flavors.
Kuehn Acres will have FRESH RHUBARB, Sauerkraut, Rhubarb Fizz, Pickled Beets, Pickled Peppers, Rhubarb Jam, Apple Cinnamon Jam, Jalapeno Jam (hot and mild).

Kuehn's Animal Treat and Kuehn Acres would like to Thank all those who showed up at my stand today. Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market had a Great turn out for vendors.( old and new vendors). Also there was a good turn out for Market Customers.
Both Kuehn's Animal Treat and Kuehn Acres will not be at this Market Next week.

WANTED

If your a local gardener that live in Lincoln County and/or the Tomahawk School District. And you dont know what to do with all your extra produce. Or would like trying to grow some extra produce to sell. Try the Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market. We always welcome local produce growers.
As one of the original vendors that helped start this Market years ago in the Senior Center parking lot. I am proud that we have always supported local growers. We have worked hard to stay local. Not regional, where we would let others all over in,or allow resales of vegetables from auctions. We believe in supporting Local. Because all the years I have sold at local markets(27 1\2 years) in Lincoln. It has been an important issue to my costumers. Both local people and our tourist. When I have talked to people outside the area they always express how they loved that we stay local, and wish their Market back home was local. So Yes as you can see my support for local isn't just an opinion. But an experience the last 27 1/2 years.
So if your local and want to give it a try. It's Only $15.00 a day, or $100.00 for the entire season. The Tomahawk Farm and Flee Market runs from May to the last Saturday in October. Our new location is in the parking lot of Qualheim's True Value. We open each Market day at 8am and go to 2pm. So show up, check in and set up before 8am.

PS: TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS. Because we our local you will not see stands full of produce this time of year. Must vegetable gardeners are first getting their garden prepared for planting right now. So please be patient . We do have some Farmer Market items. Like Rhubarb, can goods, locally baked breads and crackers. And as long as my Carrots that I planted last year and still in the ground are still good. Carrots. Also if it starts staying warm, locally grown Mushrooms.
