Hi! I'm Copper! I was rescued during Hurricane Michael October 2018. That means I've been waiting over a year to find my furever family. I thought I found it once but it turns out, they didn't want me anymore. I try to be the best boy I know how to be, but sometimes I think people misunderstand me. You see, I can be a little scared of new people and new situations so I think people get the wrong impression. I just need to go slow and build some trust, but I promise once I do, I want nothing more than to love you.
I've been in foster care for most of my time with the rescue, but what I really want is a family to call my own. One with a quiet home who is willing to be patient, won't give up on me, and show me I'm worth it - because my foster mom says I totally am.
My favorite things are learning, relaxing in my favorite spot, window watching, playing with my foster fur siblings, going on hikes, and cuddling with my foster parents.
I'm trying out this social media thing in efforts to reach more people, hoping one of them will be my people. So, if you could share my page or a random post here and there, I'd really appreciate it.
