Oh look a treat 🍓

We took our sweet, succulent scallops jammed with protein and omega-3’s and added in a nutrient heavyweight - the haskap berry. With up to 3X the antioxidants of blueberries, more vitamin C than an orange and a potassium content only rivalled by bananas, this often overlooked berry, is a true powerhouse 💪
A combo that will have your pet licking their empty bowl, but filled with nutrients. Don’t take our word though, grab one today and find out for yourself.

From the waters off of Digby ⚓️, Nova Scotia (the scallop capital of the world!), scallops are our newest treat option. A locally sourced, tasty and nutritious option for your dog! And, like all our treats, our scallops are human-grade 🌊
Scallops are a nutritious and beneficial treat. Rich in protein, which is essential for muscle growth and repair, and containing omega-3 fatty acids, which support a healthy coat and skin - scallops make a great addition to your treat cupboard. Additionally, scallops provide essential vitamins and minerals such as magnesium, potassium, and B12, which contribute to overall health, including cardiovascular and nervous system functions.

📣 This coming Monday we add another single ingredient, locally sourced treat to our lineup.
For this treat we travelled, not far from us, to a small coastal community here in the beautiful Annapolis Valley 🤔
Our freeze drying process allows us to maximize our treats nutritional content & flavour, but we also choose ingredients that are nutritionally dense. Today we look at our pork treats.
Pork is a great treat option and not only for the benefits we listed in our reel. For dogs with allergies - pork can be a great alternative, as it is less likely to cause a reaction when compared to other animal proteins.
Pork can sometimes have negative connotations because of past issues with trichinosis (a parasite infection). However, this is extremely low risk in Canada now. With that said - we also follow the CDC standard of deep freezing our pork for 30 days to ensure it is safe for our pets to consume.

Cranberries - not just for Thanksgiving dinner!
An extremely beneficial food source to add to your pets diet - cranberries are classified as a superfood. High in antioxidants, vitamin C and fibre - daily supplementation of cranberries may aid in immune system & UTI support, as well as aiding in digestion and many other health issues.
Cranberries contain a large amount of antioxidants - including proanthocyanidins. Known as “offence and defence molecules” because of their strong antioxidant benefits, some researchers claim they’re 20x as potent as vitamin C, or E. Research has shown the proanthocyanidins can help avoid UTI’s. In addition, they are extremely helpful in supporting your pets gut microbiome and immune system.
We use Grade A cranberries grown and processed right here in Nova Scotia. In fact, they come from Terra Beata Cranberries who also double as our neighbour!
